Our party of five had a nice weekend lunch at Parekoy. We ordered shrimp sinigang, tocino, pork sisig, lechon kawali, and dinugan with a bowl each of steamed and garlic rice. Everything was good, but we did find the sinigang a little too salty. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our waitress was helpful as it was our first time visiting Parekoy. Overall a nice Filipino restaurant. I will be back to check out their all-day breakfast.

SF East Bay. I wanted to like this restaurant so much but no such luck: * crispy binagoongan - ironic how this dish could have used more, you guessed it, bagoong * pork sisig - I’ve definitely had my share of forgettable sisig but a bad one? Unfortunately, Parekoy you have this honor. While the flavor was there, the meat was so tough we felt like we were eating jerky * pinakbet - the only dish we liked from our takeout, authentic tasting Disappointing overall & no repeat visit.

I never really ate Filipino food out because we always ate mom's cooking. It's great to see more Filipino restaurants popping up and this little place had some delicious food. We had the kaldereta, lumpia Shanghai, pork sisig, lechon kawali, with garlic rice, and then turon and halo halo for dessert. Everything was tasty and came out piping hot. The service was super friendly and they were celebrating their 6th anniversary. Business was good with most tables occupied and we saw some people getting take out too. The kaldereta was rich and tasty, just like I had growing up. The lechon was nice and crispy. The sisig was almost as crispy as the lechon so we may not have ordered both had I known they would be so similar in texture, but you can't really go wrong with too much crispy pork.

This was an amazing experience! I have been looking for a filipino restaurant for the longest time!! Most of the time, they’re mix with another cuisine or they’re gourmet. But, this one reminds me of home or carinderia from the Ph. Which I missed a lot! I love their presentation and the mini kaserolas and kalderos are so cute! I prefer my sisig with a softer meat hence, the four stars. Not sure if that’s how they do it usually. Nevertheless, food was super amazing!!! Definitely will come back again!

I went here for lunch on Friday noon. We were seated immediately. I ordered chicken adobo bowl to eat at the restaurant and I ordered another chicken adobo to go as well as beef kare kare. The chicken adobo bowl is delicious! The chicken was super tender and flavorful. The portion (big chicken chunks) was pretty generous for the price. The kare kare was good too. It has good amount of oxtail & tripe and lots of veggies. The peanut sauce was thick and gooood! The restaurant is located on a busy E 14th st in hayward, so street parking is kinda hard but you can park on the residential street on the side. I will definitely come back to try other menu when I'm in the area

Love their Sisig and Palaboc! Very good Filipino food. They really give big portions.

Delicious!!! Got the pancit palabok, sisig pork, and the bangus sisig for take out. The pork was a bit dry, but maybe if we had in house that wouldn’t be an issue.

The beginner session was really fun! Our instructor Arzu did an awesome job teaching us. She held a few mini competition sessions for us towards the end which was super enjoyable and really spiced things up!
