Par-A-Dice Hotel Casino - Featured Reviews (3684)
As casinos go it's pretty standard. The restaurant had delicious fish and chips. Cold beer and great Cole slaw. The casino was a little close with machines and people. Not a lot of room in some places. I would go back if I was already in the area.
I stayed here recently while in town for a friend’s wedding and overall it was a really good place to stay. The room was spacious and felt very clean, but the decor is definitely a bit dated. Not in a bad way, just not as luxurious or modern feeling as some newer hotels. Staff was very friendly during checkin and checkout process. There didnt seem to be many restaurants, bars, or shops within walking distance besides the casino itself and it’s nearby restaurant, so plan accordingly if you don’t have a car.
Hotel is like most mid-west casinos. Starting to show age. Rooms are neat and clean. There's a shuttle to the casino. But, it's an easy short walk too. 3 levels of various gaming.
The rooms in the hotel were very nice. The food was good. I perfect a place where the hotel and casino are attached. Buy this was very nice for not having that. They had a shuttle to take you back and forth between the two, and the drivers were verynice. And very knowledgeable regarding area.
The convention facilities were very good. I had to call for more towels and they were delivered quickly. Housekeeping never came to my room to pick up used towels or change sheets. The room phone did not ring causing me to miss two wake up calls. Luckily, I woke up on my own.
This hotel is very nice. The rooms are very beautiful and clean. The staff seemed friendly. One of the elevators was under construction, but it wasn’t too bad. The one thing I wish that was available was a continental breakfast area. The bars I’m sure are nice though.
We stayed at this hotel for a concert that was at the civic center in downtown Peoria. I was pleasantly surprised at our room and the cleanliness of it. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was very modern and over all very comfortable and clean. Amanda at the front desk was wonderful, we had 2 rooms booked and she got us next to each other, which was perfect. Couple of down sides. There is no place to eat on the premise (especially late night) you have to go to the casino (which is not attached to the hotel) or burger king across the street. Uber is a long wait... over 30 minutes to get to downtown Peoria and 45 minutes after our event. We were told that the hotel had a shuttle to the civic center for events (WRONG!!) when we booked, that was the reason why we booked there and not in Peoria proper. As mentioned food options are very limited after 9pm. The only place we found open was in the casino and it was a little deli with a grill. It was a very nice place to stay and for the money was really worth it.
Clean, comfortable, and quiet. We were visiting Peoria for the weekend and wanted a place out of the city. Fit the bill perfectly. Had the feel of a family hotel in a corporate body. Recommend to all. I sell dice as a hobby, so the added dicey flare was a plus. We were truly in Para-a-Dice. Kinda.
We had a great first time at this park! It was a hot day on our visit but there are several shaded spots. Beware of the turkey! It âbitâ my toddler through the fence, but he was totally fine. Iâm sure it was just used to people feeding it throu
This may have been the best fried tenderloin Iâve ever had! Husband had a burger which was good also! The chips are waffle chips and very yummy! I got my fries well done and I usually donât like thick fries but these were actually really good! Hi
Very nice owner. Also extremely helpful. Had a nice chat for a few minutes. Knowledgeable and down to earth. He knew his products well and could describe in depth. Highly recommend! Thanks again my friend
