The whole atmosphere was excellent, we had a wait but we were a family of 5. The bread and butter was complimentary and delicious. Our waitress was very helpful. The serving size is quite large and the catfish is extremely good!
The customer service my family and I received from Dee and Jeremy was absolutely outstanding! The food was amazing, and the drinks were delicious. Even with a party of 22, our food and drinks came out with great timing. Each bite and sip was better than the last.

This was my Birthday Brunch and 1st time at the restaurant. It was a large group and all of the food was amazing. We order several starters that were perfect. All food came out hot and seasoned well. The service and atmosphere was amazing.
The food here is AMAZING. The seafood tastes fresher than Kemah. The setting is great, some of my favorite waitresses are here, but the manager Shelby Pugh is who keeps us coming back. She’s great if we have any issues, which we rarely do, but she’s always got such a great attitude!! It’s hard to find good customer service, but she’s got it down. The dessert is amazing, and the fondue and crab cakes are our go to.
Food was amazing, staff was excellent. Hands down one of the best places to eat in Houston.
I've been coming to Pappas for more than a decade! Sadly, it isn't what it used to be but it is still one of my favorite seafood restaurants in Houston. I come here often for the "softshell crab", I wish they'd bring MAINE softshell since it's BIGGER/larger species because the ones they serve here at Pappas are kind'a small (hence it's 3 pieces per entree).
Also, it's a tad pricey, around $37.
The seafood platter is no longer worth it, last time I tried it, was mostly breading, breadcrumbs etc
I appreciate their freshly squeezed orange juice & lemonade. Let's hope it remains freshl (HEB's $10 orange juice tastes fake now. Powdered vitamin C.)
The Humble location is far better than the other one.
The shrimp alfredo pappardelle pasta was delicious. I would order this dish again. If you’re a pasta and seafood lover like me, I would say this is worth a try. Large amount of food for the price but I wouldn’t recommend warming this up for a day two meal. You will be left with a greasy mess, as the alfredo sauce doesn’t do well in the microwave.

We absolutely LOVED this new find! Kinda of a "hole in the wall'... Surprisingly busy, both eat in and take out. But hands down, the BEST GUMBO I've ever eaten --including from Mr. B's in New Orleans. And oh! The shrimp Po boy was fabulous! Big crisp
