The food was pretty good but the Cuban sandwich was amazing! The only issue was the whole place smelled like Fabuloso cleaner, and that smell was so strong you couldn’t smell any food and it kind of takes away your appetite. It’s good to know that they are clean but when you go somewhere to eat it would be nice to smell food. Also one of the workers and I’m assuming a customer stood at the end of the table we were eating at and had her foot on the seat we were sitting at which was very rude and we had to get up and move tables.
The food was really good, especially the rice and meats. They were out of pastellilos (appetizer) which I wanted to try. Got the potato balls instead and it was pretty good. I think the lunch specials are a very good deal and that’s what everyone was getting. People got food right away off of their food line and I had trouble ordering because the menu was so far away and I wasn’t familiar with the dishes at the line. I wish they had pictures or food names accompanying the line. The chicken and beef were flavorful but the beef was pretty pricy for the portion. I loved the sweet plantains. The restaurant was very warm inside to the point of discomfort and the bathroom was worse. There was no AC just to note. I’d probably just get takeout next time.
This place is amazing. We were greeted with a friendly face. She was very helpful and explained everything to us. The food is amazing!
Food was absolutely delicious, so fresh and so flavorful. Customer service was amazing, and the place itself is very clean. 10/10
Doesn’t look like much from the outside, we almost didn’t go in, but inside, it is beautifully decorated. As for the food, the only way to get more authentic and flavorful Puerto Rican food would be to go to PR and get a home cooked meal from abuela, but even then it’d be pretty close. Excellent customer service, reasonable prices, hands down some of the best food I’ve tasted. The wings were flavorful but cold. Mofongo was delicious but if you don’t like garlic it’s not for you. The music was fantastic, lots of Tito Rojas (El Gallo) songs. It felt like being in PR. Clean restrooms and it smelled good too. We ordered from the menu which i believe is pricier than ordering from what’s available a la carte.
We are visiting from TX and miss everything about our PR. Everything we order came hot and tasted great! Service was great and the place is super clean. Will definitely be back when we visit again!
Low key, order your food at the register, sit and be served deliciously prepared Puerto Rican fare. I had the Mofongo and steak side of rice and gandules and sweet ripe fried plantain. My wife had the mofongo with creole sauce and chicken. Both were excellent. If you want a Puerto Rican food fix this is the place. Great friendly service as you should expect from Puerto Ricans.
Every time we come here, it's an amazing experience. The establishment always has clean, and fast service. The food is prepared fresh, and it shows through its taste. It's a calm environment, with very competent and sensible waiters. May be the best spot to get authentic Puerto Rican food here in the panhandle for sure! Definitely give them a try. Get to experience a tiny bit of proper Puerto Rican cuisine ❤️

Tried this place from word of mouth and the feedback was everything and more than I wanted. My wife and I tried the yuca fries and the birra tacos and we were not disappointed. Tasted like home cooking and I could not be more pleased. On top of that
