Clean, well maintained pool and recreation area! Well staffed with life guards, and has an accessible first aid tent. There is one extra-large zero entry pool with two medium slides and two diving boards for older kids. There is plenty of lounge chairs and gray area. There is a nice, separate play area for young children, splash pad, slide in shallow water, and sand play area. There are lockers that require a quarter to use in the locker rooms. This appears to be nicely managed! The only reason I give it four stars is that the facilities are older, and have limited extra features for older kids/ adults. The snack bar has a limited selection, but prices are reasonable. The evening swim times are a nice option for a dollar off every and less busy!
Two slides, two diving boards, splash park for the kids and a lot of life guards
Pretty cool place. Our 1st time there. Price wasnt too bad. Im glad they at least had a concession stand! My 4yo just HAD to jump off diving board...every single time he did, each lifeguard on that duty station watched him till he made it to the ladder, that was so comforting! We all loved the slides as well! Def b goin back!
The slides are fun, also have diving boards, was only $5 for my daughter and $6 for me so definitely worth it for a day out together. Snacks were reasonable too, altho mostly sweets and candy except the pizza slices. If we were there longer I would have appreciated hot dogs or nachos or other easy options besides just pizza. Really no complaints!

For how long papio bay has been around, I would expect a larger selection at the condensation stands. Their pizza only lasts about an hour, then after that is gone there is no real hot food to order. The pb&j that they serve is frozen, which was a disappointment for my 3 year old. The prices are reasonable for the selection, but they could really use more variation. Chips and cheese, pretzel, hotdog, anything else would be nice.
