Paoli Battlefield Historical Park - Park in Malvern - Monument Ave & Wayne Ave, USA

There's a nice trail here, it's not very difficult and it's pretty short. I would suggest you use the alltrails app to navigate around the trail but you don't have to because it's not hard considering it's basically just a circle. I like that it's not paved so it's not super simple. It's fairly well kept but there was a trail that was closed so I'm not sure if it was because it needs work done to it or not. If you want to make the walk easy on yourself you can just take the loop around the battlefield but there's not much shade there. It's also all grass so if it's an early summer morning your shoes will probably get wet. I like the little historical touches. If you like history you might want to read over some of the plaques and the informational packet.

So I had come across a brochure highlighting the "Paoli massacre" several years ago and decided to go visit. It turns out to be a Revolutionary battlefield located in Malvern, Pa. not Paoli. It's a large open field with battle markers posted at key points of the battle. The Britush scored a tactical victory here and committed the heinous act of putting to death a large number of our patriot soldiers. If you have an interest in history well worth the visit and bring your dog for they will enjoy it too!! And when you are finished stop in town on King Street and have a great pulled pork sandwich at The Flying Pig!!! Well worth it they have other great sandwich n meal choices too. Shepherd's Pie my favorite after the pork.

A great historical location that I am sure many did not know what took place here. I certainly did not learn about it in school. Be sure to add this to you list of visits.

I enjoyed the Paoli Battlefield Park. The descriptive signs and audio tour were very good at describing the events of the battle.

It was such a beautiful fall day on Saturday November 2, 2019 that I had to stop at the Paoli Battlefield Historical Park and take some pictures. I enjoy history and this park with its monuments did not disappoint me. I thought the two small cannons in front of the memorial were cool. Quite a few people brought their dogs to the park on this day. There is plenty of room for the dogs to run. The park is located in the residential area of Paoli Pennsylvania.

“Renovate it and it could be like more attractive” Currently, this is just an open field and there is some small memorials and flag is there but after reading history it has all the potential to be visiting attraction. This is a hidden gem and the site of a significant Revolutionary War event... the massacre of several dozen Colonial soldiers. We visited to take part in a paranormal tour, which was a lot of fun and very educational.

I was the Keynote speaker at the Battlefield. A beautiful area indeed, but very sad. During the battle 52 Americans were killed. 😢♥️🇺🇸
