Panther Valley RV Park - RV park in Reno - 600 Newport Ln, USA

The service is superb, especially when located in the middle of industrial and residential boondocks, equipped with a little purchasing snack store. Name brand items: drinks, candy, ice cream and other useful items for self-care. The hours are usually open to all; residents and the public but are anything but 24/ 7. For a little self-sufficient place; doesn't seem to be too much of an issue.

If I could give it 0 stars I would this place needs to be bulldozed and leveled the people running it are rude and they lie.. they charge far to much $ for hookups, that’s all you get from them no working bathrooms or any such amenities. Of all the places in Reno, sparks this is they worst. I stayed. One night and they demanded a$1000/dep pulse $525?lol they are clearly out of their minds... for what?? The maintenance man was nice though. He went above what he’s paid I’m sure to help me and get the space we stayed the night in he deserves credit for it.. I don’t know your name but thank you. You sir are a hardworking man and put up with a lot of stupidness and I hope you get paid for it...

The New Management is a joke! They do background checks on you. Regardless if you're a new prospect to rent or you're a visitor. It's against the law to discriminate!! You as a New prospect rent or you're a visitor. They do background checks on you without your cascent. They raised the rent and then they say they made a mistake. They can't even read electric meter right. They have no intentions to fix the park. Instead they're gonna close the park bringing a construction crew in and build apartments instead. The maintenance guy was drunk 1 night. And mention to somebody else in the park they were gonna close the park bring a construction company in and build apartments instead. So they have no intentions to put money in the rv park at all. That would explain why tree branches that they cut about a year ago. Still pile high in front of A, C, D and G row. A Fire Hazard in the making. With a Mobile home residential next door and pallet Co. Across the street. Reno Fire is asking for big time trouble from this RV park and you want to Reno here??

This is a great RV park if you want hassle free staff spacious sites. The staff is friendly and helpful. I used the shower and restroom facilities once in a while but have my own in my RV, they are older but cleaned on a regular basis. Spaces are yo be maintained by RV renter (as common in ALL RV parks) some do and some don't. This is the better of all RV Parks in the area in my opinion. The down fall to this RV Park is the main street is used like a freeway, it's clearly posted 25mph, and people can't respect that.

Its the only trailer park ive ever lived in and it's changed my view of them to the better. Its been a wonderful experience best place ive ever lived and ive lived in upper class lower class and no class . I have no reason to ever leave

My experience with this place has been horrific! Five years ago the owner put his son, Camron , in the management position. He filled the maintence manager position. Now: the grounds are filthy, one can not take a "real" shower for the vandalism. Not to mention heat in winter. The sewer system is on it's last leg. Water is never tested. The power system burns out small electronics regularly, and runs so costly it might double the monthly costs. Maintenance does nothing properly if at all.

We're definitely NOT RV snobs... but... We stayed here because we wanted a place north of Reno and out of town a ways. It was a mistake. The restrooms were filthy, our RV "yard" was overgrown with weeds, and the overhead lines were hanging so low (due to a leaning pole) that we had to perform some driving gymnastics just to leave our space. Oh... and there's a $5 per key deposit if you want a key to the restrooms. The people were nice but this place needs some serious repair and upgrade. I doubt it would pass a health inspection as it stands now. Too bad... this COULD be a nice park. :-(

We wanted to stay at this RV park as it was very close to our destination. However,we were unable to find a website that worked and no one answered the listed phone number. When we arrived, it looked like a permanent RV community. The store was closed so we couldn't verify that the RV park was closed to overnighters, but it didn't appear that there were any available spots. ||We ended up at the Grand Sierra Resort Rv park which was a good choice, even though it was 20 minutes from our destination and necessitated some freeway/highway travel we were hoping to avoid.||
