The property manager and his wife were surly, hostile, dishonest, and downright terrible. I am a disabled person and asked for a 1st floor room, because we complained to booking.com about the fact that he was trying to charge us 103.00 and the booking was at 85, they put us on the second floor where I would have to walk up stairs. There were bedbugs in the room, I took photos and complained again. At midnight that placed us in another room next door. The toilet would not flush, I called booking.com in the morning and told them we could no longer stay there. They got this man to agree to refund the second night however when I checked out and turned in the key his wife said that she needed my business partners card to be able to refund the money. He was in a conference in Hollywood. I told her it was impossible to come back by 11:00 a.m. to process the transaction so she then informed me that there would be NO refund. I had to call booking.com again! This place charges money for a place that is run down, not maintained, has black mold around the tub, bed bugs and only rents to Spanish speaking people who won't complain because they do not know that they can. Whoever put the review up "Clean and comfy" is either lying or a friend of the owner. I have stayed in a lot of places but this place was by far the worst.

My room was nice and clean and no evidence of insects. Furnishings were sparse--no floor or table lamps--but had both refrigerator and microwave. Location seemed quiet and secure. Parking was always convenient, even on weekends. This seemed very ordinary but fair value for money.

This place is cool. The front desk guy is nice. The price is one of the best in town and the rooms are always clean (never grimy) the couple of times I've stayed here. There's a microwave in the room, which is a plus. The place also has a chill vibe, does NOT feel like someones haunting or watching the room.

This is a fine basic motel. No frills, no hassles, just your basic motel. The rooms are clean and well kept. The non smoking room I had did not stink. The heater works fine. Don't expect lots of plush towels and thick comforters, you get the basics for an overnight stay. There is ample parking, usually right in front of your door. I stayed 2 nights and would stay here again.

BIPOLAR FAMILY RUN THIS PLACE Father, Mother, and Son trio run this place with a neurotic iron fist. Come play the thrilling game of "Will They Throw You Out?" and see if your very presence is enough to trigger a psychotic episode from one of them. Simply asking a question during checkin has been known to anger them at which point you will barely be able to decipher a suddenly irate Indian accent "Do you even speak English?!?!"...no matter how obvious it is that you speak perfect English. At this point you've won (or lost) the game and can take a donut out of the surplus donut supply kindly provided from their donut vaults because you've past the point of no return and are about to be thrown out by a psychopath who will literally dial the police since your mere presence is enough to make a grown man behind bulletproof glass scream. Surely 911 must know they're total nutcases who perform this charade hourly but still it is quite threatening and rather unpleasant. Considering you probably just asked what time checkout is or if they needed your reservation number the response is rather odd. Amusingly odd is the son, who is clearly heir-apparent to the family empire, one day will want to coddle you in his clammy hands and stroke your hair and the next day he's going to assault you as if you were some kind of baby-trafficking puppy-eater. So consider this when you make your reservation...it's NOT guaranteed and is subject to change at anytime during your stay. But take it with a grain of salt..they really can't help it, it's totally random lunacy and not based on anything that ordinary crazy motel operators discriminate against like color, orientation, how cheap your car is, or how much they think they can overcharge you. The rooms are a mixed bag of sickening and decent. If you're the gambling type you may want to check this place out. Best thing about the place is quiet rooms/walls.

The most nostalgic night I have ever spent in L.A. An episode of Highway Patrol was filmed here in 1956 and some of a Mannix episode in 1969. And in 2020, Mommy Was a Murderer. It has great post-WWII architecture and is of a bygone era. Places like this should be restored by someone who cares.

Me and a some friend were driving south but it was around 1:00 am and decided to stay found the night after a while we found this place. I ask for a room to the guy on the front desk says and I quote:"we have rooms but not for you", since I have never been discriminated before, all naive about it was caught off guard and ask why? The sign says you have vacancy, so I just exposed my self for more discrimination and humiliation, the guy repeats: "we have rooms just not for you" and there I go again for more "you need to change your sign" the guy had no issues being racist towards and even flipped me of and told to to F myself. I called the next day trying to reach the owner or manager, I was hung up on when I explained the reason for my call and I also think that idiot was the owner so if you want to be treated as a lessor person, humiliated and discriminated this is your spot. And since they don't seem to care, don even think of staying so they can gon out of business fast so this world can be a bit better without people like them.

Never ever set foot on this place, the sooner it goes out of business the better for humanity; the people that run this place and their employees are straight up racist. Their words were and I quote: "we have a room but not for you" and since Im not used to being discriminated because I interact with normal human beings and have never experiences anything like this before, I ended up exposing myself to more humiliation and more of the "just not for you". If you don't believe me read the rest of the reviews.
