I’m a Gringo & don’t speak a lick of Portuguese. But this is one of my favorite restaurants in Massachusetts. It’s not much to look at from the outside, but the buffet is incredible, and the selection of meat is outstanding. I always overfill my plate with fruit, vegetables, and meat, and the price is consistently around $20 for me. Whenever I’m in the Waltham or Newton area, this is my go to place for lunch. Incredibly friendly people. Parking isn’t always easy, you may have to drive around the block a couple of times to find street parking. But well worth it!
Staff was extremely friendly and the food had great quality. For the price per ounce I will have to say, Panela De Barro is an excellent affordable choice. With a meal in the $10-$20 range, I'm certain you will leave full and satisfied.

Great place! It can get busy during lunch time and it is annoying to find parking. The food is great, always fresh and a good selection for the buffet and Brazilian barbeque. The price is fair, usually spend around $20 for a really good sized plate. The service is excellent, never had a problem with the people that work there, always friendly. Overall I would definitely recommend!

What is incredible is that some people come to review, and all they do is complaining. If the meat was well done, well, talk to Carlos, the chef, and you will get a very pink and succulent piece of meat. Everything was very very good. Thanks to Carlos and his staff. 10/10 food! Real Brazilian food, very tasty and I don’t feel heavy after eating! Go eat there!
After two in the afternoon it is not advisable to visit it, you will find food that has been there since the opening of the restaurant, for example the white rice that does not have much movement and the first time I went in the afternoon it was brown, almost stone! They have to rotate the product because it spoils even if it is cooked, it has a shelf life. And if you don't believe, visiting at these times, even during closing, you see this type of ruined product.
