Panda Garden - Chinese restaurant in New Holland - 649 W Main St, USA

Found this place about a month ago when I had to go to East Earl and decided to stop on way back and get take out. Food was really good. Stopped again today and food wasn't as good as last time plus I bit down on something hard that tasted like black licorice which was not pleasant. Then I felt something sharp in my mouth and there was a tiny very sharp stick. Not happy at all

The buffet is pretty much the same for the past 5 years - 90% chicken dishes, 1 beef, 1 seafood stirfry, and the rest is deep fried items. Price had increased too, $15 for dinner, excluding tips = $17-18 altogether. The buffet value is not there anymore + the food is cold after 7 PM. Buy a combo dish is better + this place is once a year thing if you crave the buffet's tastle and getting tired of China One down the block.

Great food!!! I have been here a lot and some of my favorites are the steamed dumplings, egg foo young, chow mein, general tsos chicken, orange chicken, wonton soup and i also love their rice!! Definitely check this place out!!!

REASONABLY PRICED. $14+ for adults. $9 for kids. Good chinese buffet. Popular to locals. Most consumers were very large in size. The place was a bit dingy. Could do some interior improvement.

It is just a tiny little place with three little rows of buffet but all the choices of food never fail to please.. Everything is always hot and fresh The interior itself is very drab and mundane but don't let that fool you

Update 9/10 Ordered the same thing as before. The online ordering process is a breeze. It was ready to be picked up 10ish minutes later. Unfortunately the food was still bland. Not to the point of being bad as it is still good. The broccoli is fresh n firm as is the rest of the veggies. Ordered Shrimp and Broccoli via their online portal. It was ready when I got there 10 mins later. Overall, it was just ok. The sauce was rather bland but the veggies and shrimp tasted fresh. Rice seemed like instant rice. Didn't stick together like from typical places. And actually was a bit undercooked. This is a small town so my expectations are pretty low. I'll probably give them another try.

Average to delicious food, adequate buffet items. The vegetables are always fresh. My only complaint with the food is fried items tend to be overheld. This place has older decor but is usually very clean.
