You know I’m gonna stop by any joint that is selling Birria tacos. I ordered the Combo #2 which comes with Two Birria Tacos, One Quesadilla, and one bowl of Consome. The tacos were… pretty mediocre honestly. The Quesadilla was pretty good. The Consome was pretty good too. My wife ordered Enchilada Suizas, which were pretty mediocre. There are much better Suizas out there. Beans and rice were alright, but the enchiladas could use some work. The chips and salsa cost extra, by the way, which wasn’t really worth it. Mediocre salsa, and stale chips. Overall, not worth a return visit. Some items are decent, but none are really great.

I can't say this place is great, but it's also not bad. The food we ordered was carne asada plate; the meat needed more flavor, although it had an excessive amount of black pepper. 2nd plate was caldo deBirria, which is Birria meat stew (in its broth) with 3 fresh made tortillas. The broth was warm and yummy. We also ordered a mulita de asada, and nothing about it stood out. We also ordered 2 aguas frescas that were good but never got a refill. The place is tiny and good for a quick bite. Most people came in and out. The service was friendly but lacking as we never got service after having our meal served. No water or refills. The place has a lot of foot traffic and could use a little more cleaning. I really did like the salsas as they had a good kick to them.

Birria is amazing I really liked this place. It’s really delicious. The establishment is clean, I had a agua de jaimaca. The portions and everything is amazing just became my new fav spot. 5 stars all day

Great place to eat. Great food good atmosphere. I had the three enchiladas and the wife had Birria de res Tijuana quesadilas. Both meals were awesome.

We just had our baby blessing and had them catered our food!! It was great! It was on time when I said I’d go pick it up. It was all well organized and more than anything it all tasted great! Lots of people enjoyed and thought it was great! I wish I would’ve taken a picture but I forgot Highly recommended!!

Moving from Nashville it was super hard to find a good Mexican restaurant until I found Panchos, most restaurants around here are catered to no taste bud having white people. This place is amazing, the Birria tacos are to die for and they actually have salsa and cheese dip!! Would recommend to anyone. Staff was also so great and attentive even though they were busy!

Excellent! We found this place on a whim searching for lunch, and decided to try it out. We got chips and salsa (I think they charged for them, but the salsa was so so good). We also both got the lunch special with chicken enchiladas, no sour cream. When they brought our food, they also brought a bottle of hot sauce. Between the salsa and the hot sauce, I was in absolute Mexican food heaven! The chicken enchiladas were great and the prices were very reasonable. Will remember this place the next time we are in SLC.

Birra tacos and Birra a la cart - both soo good!!! We had it to-go and made our own nachos at home that were amazing with their Birra!! Definitely recommend and I will definitely be back!! 🌮😍🤤🌮 Update: Another amazing visit to Poncho’s! The beautiful chica up front is always so welcoming and friendly and the owner was so genuine and kind. We ordered Birra & beans a la cart to make quesadillas at home and they again turned out amazing! 🔥 Gotta love the consistency in their delicious food and quality service! 🙏💜⭐️
