Pancake City - American restaurant in Kirksville - 2101 N Baltimore St, USA

Hands down the best country breakfast in Kirksville, or anywhere else in my opinion. You can't come to town without stopping by Pancake City! Great service, great food, great atmosphere, every time.

The food and service was great! Love the fruit pancakes. They messed up on a few orders but were quick to fix it. The kids eggs and bacon was not filling at all.

Food was plenty and prices were average. Wait staff was fantastic. We all left pretty full. Good place for breakfast. Parking lot was pretty small but not unreasonable.

If you aren’t looking for anything more than a Waffle House atmosphere this place would be fine. The food was average. Breakfast burrito was really greasy on the outside, hash browns lacked flavor, everything was just “eh” nothing special. The staff was wonderful; friendly and attentive. Didn’t care for the floor being mopped with a strong bleach water while we were eating though. I understand the need for cleanliness but it made our food taste like the bleach we were now smelling.

Serving staff are excellent. Food is okay if they have it. Some of it tastes old and stale or straight out of a can. Management is beyond awful and treat new customers like they don’t matter. Be sure to order the special ahead of time or you won’t get any. Figure on calling the day before since they will reserve your food and tell customers there that they ran out. Can’t even keep enough cooks on staff to stay open their normal hours. Oh and your time in the bathroom the next day will be significant after each time you've eaten here. Calling this place a greasy spoon is too kind, it's a gut bomb factory.

I got the special and that was all you can eat spaghetti with a salad and three mozzarella sticks and it was good, I promise you won't leave hungry. Now the building could use some help but the girls working were really good at trying to keep up with everything We will eat here again as some of there nightly specials sound pretty good.

We loved homey atmosphere and good food. Great for breakfast, brunch or lunch. It's also got good dinner options. Just a great cozy diner with tons of personality

I love the staff ❤️ the food has always been good and quick on service.
