Panama City Beach RV Resort - Featured Reviews (463)
We enjoyed staying here in our RV for several nights. It would have been difficult several weeks ago - still evidence of the tornado (one large RV still lying on its side). Great welcome and we enjoyed our stay.
I stayed at this park for the month of December. ||||Most of my time there the park was at about 20 percent capacity. It was a ghost town. As part of my check in process I was told to keep an eye on my dog in the “dog park” because there were a couple holes in the fence. Upon inspection of the dog park I would never in a million years take my dog in that so called “dog park”. The holes in the fence were two missing fence boards that could have been replaced in less than a minute for minimal cost. They still had not been fixed after my month stay. ||Laundry machines were out of service. The laundry room is the size of a large walk in closet. The free Saturday morning breakfast hosted in the “clubhouse” aka storage room consisted of 2 dozen assorted donuts, didn’t see any coffee offered. ||Lighting around the park is non existent. The lights are there but not one of them work. I twisted my ankle one night while walking the dog in the pitch dark. Thankfully it wasn’t serious. There is zero pride of ownership and that is reflected by the people who stay there, who very few pick up after their dogs. Only one garbage can for dog bags at the front of the park and the garbage dumpsters at the back. NO RECYCLING at all at the park. It’s 2024 people shame on you. ||||The ground of the perimeter sites was just sand and weeds. No sod. I must give them some credit as they had laid fresh sod down the middle pull through sites. When I arrived there were two skids of sod sitting at one of the sites. When I left a month later the same two pallets of sod were still sitting there. If you have dogs you can not walk them around the perimeter sites for all the sand spurs. They are terrible and very painful for the dogs feet. (And humans). ||The bar across the road Patches has live music 365 days a year. That’s right… 365 days a year. If you are one of the unlucky ones who gets a site on the road directly across the street you will have to listen to that EVERY SINGLE NIGHT until at least 10pm and it’s not good. The bands perform outside under a tent and the music echoes back off the high rise condo building and it’s terrible. ||The wifi is poor. They said it was just upgraded recently and if that’s true, I can’t imagine how poor it was before the upgrade. ||Overall the location is pretty good, but not worth the money they charge considering the lack of upkeep, and the noise which I understand is completely out of their control, but nonetheless it’s 365 days a year of noise. ||The staff were trying I guess, and always friendly but the ownership are clearly just sucking this place of all the money and not investing in any upgrades. I toured other RV parks in the area and there are better options for less money, with a brand new KOA just about to open. ||||Whoever owns this park is doing an extremely poor job and doesn’t give a rats ass about customer service or providing a decent product to their paying customers. This park is the most expensive park in Panama City Beach and definitely is not worth it in the state that it is in.
My family and I have stayed at Panama City Beach RV resort almost every year. The area is nice a quiet, the pool area is nice, there is a 24 hr ice vending machine. So convenient. The stuff are always nice and friendly each stay the bathroom always cleans and maintained. Of the resort is clean and comfortable.
We have been coming here for about 8 years. We love the resort and the staff are very helpful. The sites are concrete and level. I do have a issue with some trees while backing in scratching the coach. They could use a trimming. The only negative I have for this resort is the cars and trucks are speeding though the campground and no security at all in site. Since we have been here the security gates been up non stop. Other than that we love the location and will be back. The onsite pool is nice.
Nice large level sites. However they are not maintained well (trash, cigarette butts, water bottles everywhere). The dog park was absolutely nasty. Even my dogs didn’t want to go in. And the noise from the surrounding establishments is crazy in the evenings.||Pros - close to several restaurants and souvenir shops. Large and level sites. Golf cart ride to St Andrews Stare Park. Short Walk to the public beach||Cons - noisy, not well maintained or landscaped.
This pet friendly resort is very accommodating. The lots are spacious, and the park is easily accessible to surrounding restaurants, shopping, and beaches.
Amazing place to stay, many improvements have been made and the staff and management are incredible and helpful! Highly recommend staying here you won't be disappointed!
My family and I stayed here , the best aspect about this resort is the location. The lots are a decent size.||I did see areas that need to be addressed,; lighting, the road is not lighted very well at all. People & children have to play outside in the dark. I also noticed there is no evening lighting at the pool area. I understand after hours but this is before that time.||My next observation, was the dog park, it could use some tending to it’s not level where water will easily drain.||We do like this resort but, the park needs some TLC.
