My family has been coming to the Pan American since 2011, coming back every year is like returning to a 2nd home. The hotel is immaculately clean and regular updates and renovations keep the property looking top notch all while maintaining the very cool mid-century modern feel. While the physical hotel is top notch the staff is really what makes this place special. Paul and Bob at the desk are two of the nicest people in the world and also have a great sense of humor. The onsite restaurant Alosi's is a longtime favorite of ours and the location just can't be beat; close enough to walk to the boardwalk but far enough away to have a peaceful experience. We can't wait for our 2024 trip!
Great hotel. Amazing staff and amazing rooms. The cost is what you would expect for the area. The TV in our room could use a major upgrade (it was very small) but not sure how many people watch TV while vacationing.
The rooms are beautiful but to cramped. Also the mattresses are terrible! This hotel is much more updated than the other shore hotels I have stayed at. It's also a bit of a walk to get to the water.
2nd time staying at Pan American while visiting family. 2nd excellent experience! Can't say enough about the friendliness of the staff. Our room was clean and our time at the pool was wonderful! Perfectly relaxing trip with my husband. Can't wait to visit again!
We've been staying here for decades. This year there were 17 of us in five units. The owners spend hundreds of thousands annually to keep the place fresh, attractive and comfortable. It is especially for families. It is across a service road from the beach. Wildwood Crest is undergoing expensive upgrades, but the Pan Am continues to lead the way.
Very clean and nice. Great friendly staff. Great location. Very nice rooms. It had a great view of the beach and ocean from the balcony.
So many memories here. We would come as a family (extended) every summer. The updates are lovely. The staff is very accommodating & friendly. A couple things that should be noted. How do you not have a charging station for devices in the center lamp of the room or else where? We really had to search for outlets and move furniture? They have easy access for USB’s in most every hotel these days. Other then that inconvenience the room was cozy & clean. We could not believe how freezing the hallways were leading to the rooms were day & night. They are just running & running blasting cold air. Late at night coming back to the hotel not many people in sight, temperatures drop, Is it necessary to run it so cold 🥶? The lobby as well a couple times so uncomfortable, I went outside to wait to be picked up. I understand keeping it cold for guests during the hottest month but it was ridiculous. My husband and I remarked how high the electric bill must be. 😳 We were coming back from dinner enjoying the lighting from other properties, heading towards Pan Am we could barely see it? Why isn’t the globe lit up that is the staple which sits directly on the top of the property? Strange.
Great location, clean, good restaurant but extremely overpriced for the value. Our room was small, the outlets were covered by furniture, no data charging outlets anywhere, maids were a bit stingy with towels. Will not be staying here again.

Really tasty vegan (non-dairy) ice cream! They only have one flavor (vanilla) but it had a great creamy texture. They have several toppings that are vegan although only sprinkles can go on top of a cone (as opposed to a cup). The attached picture is
This is a beautiful well- designed venue. The sound system was excellent . The jazz trio was very good but the crowd was sparse. Traditional jazz is not popular with vacationers in Wildwood Crest.
