Wonderful trail on an old railbed. 2% or 3% max grade makes this trail family friendly and enjoyable to ride your bike on. Every section that I've ridden so far is well maintained. Most sections are far enough from the highway so that you can enjoy the wilderness and quiet, but close enough to I90 to be easily accessible. The trail spans almost the entire width of Washington state.
I love riding my bike on this trail. It's also a great running or walking trail. All of the sections of the trail I have done (mostly from Ellensburg to Snoqualmie have been beautiful. The trail feels safe, and it's always been so clean, meaning no litter anywhere on or around the trail. Good parking areas along the way with restrooms at the main parking lots (the restroom at the S. Cle Elum lot needed some help the last time I was there). I have been told the two tunnels near Snoqualmie pass are really fun to ride through (with a good bike light or headlamp). Also, I have been told by other cyclelists that there are some great camping spots available along the trail, but I don't have personal knowledge about them.
West of Cle Elum the trail is great, fast and sweet for a gravel bike. East the trail slides from not so good to deep sand that 2.3 were almost not enough. Beautiful views but some noise from the roar of I 90.
The trail provides the opportunity to ride a long distance up through snoqualmie pass and down the other side into eastern Washington. Additionally there are many historic stops along the trail to enjoy. Facilities are also available at points along the trail. Also opportunities to purchase supplies and eat in restaurants.
Some good shots...be ready for lots and lots of gravel. Gradual incline going to Snoqualmie
Great trail to get some nice long rides on. The distance between some of the towns from the pass east make it a nice distance to go out and back.
Excellent facility for getting on the trail. There is a great interpretive trail around the old rail yard. The electrical building that supplied electricity to the electric trains is very impressive.
This is where Smokeys bbq is and it's the best bbq I've ever had. I did hear they might be moving to.

We rented the house for a family reunion. The house has 2 kitchens, enough rooms for everyone plus extra mattress under the beds. We had so much fun in the hot tub and the game room. Grilling on the patio with plenty of sitting all our family. Soccer

My wife and I wanted to share our beautiful experience last night at Beauâs restaurant! We had the pleasure meeting Beau and his beautiful wife, Alyssa, who both co-served us our meal. They sat us by the fireplace, which was very romantic, as it w
What a great experience staying at this hotel for the weekend. I came to town last minute for my dadâs birthday. Zack at the front desk was so friendly, with a beaming smile. We left for the day and when we came back to the room it was cleaned and
We discovered this place by being super hungry after skiing and needing a quick bite because everything else was closing and man oh man are we glad we did. The Arrow burger and fries simply blows away the competition at this cheap of a price point, t
