FALSE ADVERTISING. This is NOT a non-smoking property. The halls are thick with cigarette and pot smoke. Manager states openly she doesn't enforce the stated and advertised no-smoking policy. Smoke infiltrates my room. I wake with my eyes gummed shut from the smoke irritation. AND I'm asthmatic. But can't afford better right now. People should NOT stay here if they NEED a smoke free room. On the other hand, if you want to get high for free, just wander down the hall breathing normally. Mission accomplished!
never stayed there, hear the rooms are small but affordable, do not take your eyes or hands off of anything of value
The bathrooms are kept very clean and are very spacious. The property provided a quiet environment, perfect for a restful night's sleep. Friendly manager, great area, well kept property, and free wifi - overall I would highly recommend!
We stay here long term so for people looking for a one night stay it may be a different outlook. I say you get what you can afford. For me it's acceptable for 400$ a week. The attendant Shaya is a kind and sincere woman, she is always working. Ask her if you need anything. They have communal bathrooms and showers. They do have a large room with two big beds and its own bathroom, microwave, and large refrigerator. That room is 125$ a day. The standard rooms include a sink, bed, and mini fridge for 75$ a day. There is a common microwave and toaster available in the entrance area. It can get noisy but Shaya stays on top of the riffraff and has no issues with kicking people out who cause trouble. There's a lot of turnover and the building needs some work but I feel safe and I'm able to sleep in a warm bed. Pets and children are welcome but it's not the Ritz Carlton or the Royale. Excellent view on the second floor. Bring your own towels and toiletries.
This place should be five stars unbelievable that it's not they have all the amenities pets are allowed parking everywhere the owner is so sociable and very accommodating. The locals are very friendly and hospitable they're very social and helpful. I talked to one of the locals and they gave me directions and a taste of their delicious and appetizing food of the area. There were broken windows everywhere that was the only bad part. I wish I could live here. The best part of it all is the view of the harbor which is priceless the rooms are Crystal clean. I could eat off the floor it's so clean I'm sorry about that. The only thing you need to watch out is for the dirty birds that hang around there. But it is quiet at night very silent.
I got there at midnight after a long drive. Got into the room to get some sleep. There was ash, hair, and stains on the bed. I stayed till 3am trying to put up with it but i couldn’t handle it. Staff and occupants were playing music till about 2:30am. It smelled like I was drinking bong water. No refunds. I had a much better sleep in my sedan.
I love being a half a block from Beacon Street and the Boardwalk! (That's what I call it. I was born Redondo Beach, grew up in Torrance (Palos Verdes / Prospect Ave) Graduated from South High School at 17, and at 18 I move to San Pedro (27th Street)... Point being I love the ocean!
I would just like to let the management know that they need to watch who they rent rooms too because of the incidents that have occurred over the past few days because someone wanted to get drunk and then just make up stories and then get others to go along with what she is saying I felt like my life was in danger over nothing she liked to exaggerate things when she's drunk and she had management wanting to get people to jump my friend over nothing and I have to suffer for this when it is not fair to me nor him. She makes everyone think that he was the bad guy when he was very patient and she kept provoking him he was trying to stay out of drama. I just wanted to put my side of the incident out there because I lost money and also not even sure I have everything that was in the room. I feared for my safety not knowing what would happen at any moment. For one she trips on her own and that is bringing more drama to your room. Also if he put in half for the room then there is no reason why in drama should start. I shouldn't have to feel this way about my safety but im just letting you know that the incidents were a exaggeration and i should not have to worry about my safety and the safety of my friend when this should be like a safe haven and I am just really frustrated about this situation when she is the one calling and texting him to come back just to start drama again.

Animal style burger is the best. The sauce and onions put it over the top especially at that price point. Fries would be better animal style instead of plain.
Small free aquarium with a variety of small to medium fish and sea creatures. Great value given that it's free, though donations are encouraged. The fish and such are fun to look out but don't expect an in depth scientific explanation of their behavi
