Palmwood Villas - Lodging in North Myrtle Beach - 2405 S Ocean Blvd, USA

Unit 303 has the best view! Dave and Lisa are the perfect hosts and always keep their place super clean and up to date. Palmwood Villas has larger, more comfortable places than most, and this really shows on the beach and at the pool as there are not as many people crowded into one place. Location is everything. Barefoot Landing is only 2 miles away and the beach is your backyard. It’s perfect. My family and I love staying here and always have the most amazing time!

Absolutely love this place. Everything was perfect. Very clean. Great hosts. Well stocked unit. Best oceanview. Would stay here again for sure.

My boyfriend and I stayed here back in June and we have nothing but good things to say. We stayed in Unit 303 and the Faraone family keeps it in pristine condition. My first thought when we walked in, other than the gorgeous ocean view, was how clean the condo was. It truly made it that much more welcoming. The decor is cozy, there are plenty of amenities in the kitchen. The balcony and ocean view window in the master bedroom was AMAZING. The storage unit ground level to hold all beach gear was so helpful especially that they had everything we need. The pool was clean and very well kept ip with as we saw the condo manager cleaning it daily. We will absolutely be returning!!

This complex is family friendly and has an on site resident manager. The manager has taken care of the complex, the owners and the guest for years. In reference to the negative review of Mr. Cole. They did not follow the complex rules and caused damage to the drain cover in the pool by diving down repeatedly working diligently to remove. This action among many other destructive and annoying actions was recorded on video shown to the parents. At which time the mother said we will gladly pay for the damages. So glad you won’t ever return, better off finding a place in Myrtle Beach or better yet, out of SC. Parents chain smoked by the pool, daughter broke not one but two floatation devices on the pool lifeline, ( did not charge you) left empty cans and food wrappers by the pool daily. Caused an excessive amount of inconvenience for other guest : screaming unattended children in the pool day and night throwing footballs, the pool had to be closed and just disrespected the property and management in every way possible. The old roach comment is definitely not true, unless you brought them yourself. We take care of this place, you are mad because you lost your deposit plus had to pay for your children’s destruction. Lies and slanderous comments due to your negligence. So many other guest complained to the resident manager DAILY about those “sweet children”. I know where you rented and that happens to be a beautiful well kept condo.

Terrific place to stay. Beautiful beach front! Loved the screened in porch! Clean and comfortable! Great kitchen! I only gave 4 stars because I wished there was an easier way to get heavy luggage up to the rooms. Two of the three in my party had shoulder and back injuries and couldn't carry heavy luggage up the flights of stairs. But overall a wonderful experience! Next time I will know to pack smaller lighter bags and make multiple trips to the car.

Unit 304. The best part was the pool area, it was well maintained. The rest of the place was low quality. I’m guessing it was built in the 1980,s. And not really updated since then. Except the kitchen. The mildew smell slapped us in the face as soon as we opened the door. There is a nice background noise in every room of either the ac unit or a dehumidifier. You can’t really turn them off cause you will cook in the heat and humidity. The master bedroom gave me a soothing ac unit that sounded like a dishwasher was running beside me all night. The king bed was big but hard and had a big hill in the middle. My body hurt every morning. The ocean view is basically straight out due to the side of the building in front of the unit. The small bed room smelled the worst our son slept on the couch a lot. Overall we were unimpressed. The reviews that are 4 stars, I’m not sure where they stayed and I am a little jealous that they got the ritz Carlton experience.

Room 308 was filthy. Tons of stuff wrong with the place including mold under sink, dirty underwear left on bedroom floor, and not cleaned at all. But they did fix the problem and moved us to beachwalk villas. Beachwalk was amazing. Very nice place. Only issue I had at beachwalk is too much bleach in hot tub ruined our swim suits and made my daughter and myself break out in a rash. Also fridge had a small leak which I reported. Other than my damaged suits we had a decent stay.

Roach infested! We managed to kill a couple of them in our condo. Also, there was a couple staying there with very sweet children and I witnessed the maintenance guy accuse one of the kids of unscrewing a a drain cover at the bottom of the 7 foot deep end of the pool. The kid kept diving down to try and tighten up the screws. The rude maintenance guy made them pay $200 to get a diver to come and screw it back down properly! The family said they had to pay it or the HOA was going to have them evicted from their condo. That whole sweet family was also banned from the pool for the rest of the week. Sad that this place makes guests pay for standard maintenance to their property!
