Great healthy addition to Burlingame. You can customize your superfood bowls and topping are pretty much unlimited. Nice variety of bases (some of our favorites are mango, coconut, warm cinnamon oats). Very reasonable prices. A medium bowl can easily be shared by 2 people if you aren’t very hungry. I wish they had a few tables inside or outside but on a nice day you can go upstairs and eat at the public terrace.

Very delicious! Love the three layers (of I don’t know what they are! 9/17/2023 I got the Palm blend and it is absolutely delicious. It has peanut butter, matcha and açaí! The proportion of all the ingredients are well balanced. Really appreciate the staff today, she is so kind and helpful! 9/23/2023 I tried the Carnaval Blend, the topping is mildly bitter (from the goji berry) but still very pleasant!

Lives up to the hype. Been meaning to check out this place and was pleasantly surprised. A meal, snack, or dessert... any and all the above :) Go with a signature bowl and/or freestyle it. Ingredients complement each other in an explosion of flavors and textures.

The bay blend bowl here is my favorite açai bowl in the Bay Area. I'm glad that they use vegan apple honey. It's exciting to find a Burlingame location for Palmetto Superfoods.

I was excited to try this location of Palmetto -- I've been to every other location so far and loved each one, but unfortunately I could not say the same about this one. The acai definitely tasted different -- a bit more watery and the flavor was significantly weaker compared to the other locations' acai, which made the entire experience significantly less enjoyable. The people that I had this with were in agreement as well. They do seem a bit understaffed as there was only one person working for the majority of the time that I was there. The location is cute and it's nicely decorated though! I just hope they can fix the acai taste issue. UPDATE: I reached out to the email that was provided but the reply was the same response to this review with no further resolution that the reply suggested.

It was fun going to the soft opening of Palmetto Superfoods in Burlingame (there are other locations in the Metreon, on Union Street, and on Clement Street in San Francisco, with another planned for Santana Row). I learned a lot by speaking with the super friendly and deservedly-proud owner. This location in Burlingame is a really cool little spot diagonally across from Safeway and has a sweet public rooftop sitting area. And I love that everything is plant-based except the honey and bee pollen, but they have a vegan apple honey — which is absolutely delicious — as a superior substitute. Anyway, with a choice of bowls (and smoothies), one could choose a set one on the menu or customize everything with unlimited bases and toppings — as long as it fits in whatever size bowl you choose (yup, I totally went large). I opted for the Bay Blend, but swapped out the strawberries (not really my thing) for toasted coconut flakes (most definitely my thing). The bowl was quickly layered by the friendly employee, who looked like she was excited for her next opportunity to surf, at least in my imagination. From the açaí, pitaya/dragonfruit, and chia pudding on the bottom to the banana and almond butter in the middle to the granola, blueberries, and toasted coconut, etc. on top, it was scrumptious and satisfying. Wanting to try a little more deliciousness, I decided to take a Midnight Beach smoothie to go. Now that I’m gone, I know I’ll be back!

I am a Palmetto fan! I’ve been to Palmetto Inner Richmond and Cow Hollow in San Francisco M-a-n-y times. When I discovered Palmetto’s Burlingame shop, I was super happy. It’s huge compared to the City shops. I ordered a custom smoothie with everything I love. It was delicious! Another day I got a custom acai bowl…eat a rainbow of food. It’s great to get fresh fruit and add ins that taste good and are healthy too.

This location is the best I have ever been too! Michelle, Vanessa, Gabrielle are the utmost amazing! The service here is impeccable! Not to mention the freshness and how delicious the bowls and drinks taste. This location get 5 stars for everything!
