One of the greatest public parks. We will definitely visit again. I will need to explore more but loved and feel pleasant and positive.
Nice quiet park with wooded trails, Buck creek w/bridge, restrooms, picnic area with public grills and picnic tables. Also has a Golf course. Palmer Park is a dog friendly park. Please keep your dogs on a leash and pick up after them.
Great place for cross country skiing! Just gorgeous. Check website to make sure trails are groomed and clubhouse is open. Day use is just $2 and they have gear rental and snacks!
The park has 3 loops, all of which are about 2 miles. Easy/moderate.
Note that in the winter, you enter off Clyde Park. (Google maps might direct you elsewhere.) Follow signs for the golf course.
Best place to cross country ski in the winter (especially when the trails are groomed). Always peaceful and quiet.
In the summer, the trails are great for walking or running. The woods are full of wildlife like raccoons, deer, turkeys, squirrels, and a great variety of birds. The main parking area can have some sketchy figures occasionally, but other than that it’s a nice place to hike.
What a beautiful park! There are so many different paths to take, and I love how intimate the skinny paved trails feel. Perfect for fall 🥰 and great for pictures so long as you have willing participants! 😅
Great walking trails, picnic areas, ball field. It has great areas with covered pavilions and picnic tables for not just family reunions, wedding receptions, business parties, and club picnics. I didn't take any pictures. I was too busy having fun. Oh, very dog friendly. Each pavilion has restrooms, his and hers. Lots of wide open spaces. A whole lot of nature and shade.
Beautiful wildlife spotted! Entering Palmer Palmer on the left you’ll see the green of a hole on Kauffman Golf Course. What a great afternoon out! Picnic in the park with more deer sightings. More than a park! Nature woods and wildlife galore. Plenty of hiking trails.
I've been here before to meet up with people at the tables, but never to walk around. Let me tell you something, this park is one of the best places to go to for a stroll.
There's a lot of tree coverage, but also open spaces as well. Along with that, the trails are both paved and unpaved. The unpaved areas are well maintained and easy to walk on.
Definitely coming here more often.
I enjoy bringing my children here having children with disabilities it is hard getting them outside at times but the way the landscape is set up the children really be running having a great time
This is a place of learning. Itâs a small gym. There are very few machines. Itâs mostly about free-weights and bodyweight abilities, and no worries, thatâs a Good thing. Here you learn about functional fitness, as in how to get fitter in terms
When it comes to the traditional American-style Mexican restaurant, where you sit down and get free chips and salsa and thumb through a positively enormous menu, Lindo is one of the best in GR.
The atmosphere is so warm and inviting. The servers are

Absolutely phenomenal. At first âJoesâ was a late night stagger after the bars closing. Then it became a norm for the circle & I. The great & friendly people and well priced food is the reason i stay.
Shop local & pay cash!
I love Russ's! I go to a different one quite regularly, but this was my first time at this one. Whenever I go for lunch or dinner I always get the Reuben sandwich. Even though I've had it dozens of times I swear this was the best one I've ever had. T
