Palmer Memorial Park - Park in Calhoun - 601 S River St, USA

The dog park is beautiful and well set up. My only issue is there is people that don’t clean up after themselves. This could be due to the poop bags being out. Also, the human fountain works but the doggie fountain is broken. If these things were fixed it would definitely be a 5 star place for your pup. Lots of room to run, grassy areas, and mulch areas with toys.

We love going for walks and bike rides out to the park. Grass and trail is always well kept and maintained. We always find interesting birds and bugs on the trail.

The park has many benches to sit at with a large area for the dogs to run. There are obstacles for the dogs to play and a nice drinking fountain for the pups too. Two separate areas for small and large pups.

Great place to Run or Walk. The scenery is beautiful 😍. Great place for kids to practice and play sports.

A great place to relax and have a good time with friends and pets. The people who usually come to this place are very friendly 👍

The park has many things that make it a nice place to visit such as walking trails, seasonal swimming pool, tennis courts, frisbee golf, and facilities that you can rent for parties.

We stopped at the park while traveling across Georgia. We look for nice, safe places to stretch our legs when traveling. The park met all requirements and needs. The pavilion with restrooms was clean and well maintained. There is a paved walking trail with a bridge over the creek. We also met a nice group of seniors at the pavilion. As usual in a southern town, it was easy to strike up a conversation with strangers.

Wonderful park for walking, fishing by the stream, or spending time bike riding and playing on the swings with my grandchildren. There is lots of outdoor space, grass, and trees to enjoy nature. The park has a winding sidewalk walking trail, nice pavilion, tennis courts, pool, baseball fields, public restrooms, and it is well maintained. There is also plenty of parking. Glad to have a lovely park like this in Calhoun.
