Palmdale RV Resort - RV park in Los Fresnos - 30910 TX-100, USA

This is a great RV Park. This was our second time here. We stayed 3 months. They have huge lots, a great pool, shuffleboard and other activities. The people here are the best, it's like extended family that you choose! ❤️

A true home away from home! The park is a former trailer park, so the sites are huge...40'x90! Very friendly staff and residents. Nora in the office was very friendly and very helpful! The facilities include a swimming pool, hot tub, laundry facility, mail slots for residents, a library with books and DVDs, an area for playing cards, a pool table, a huge community room, showers and restrooms, and lots and lots of activities for residents. The cost is very reasonable and they are a Good Sam park as well! A propane truck makes rounds of the park three days a week to fill tanks. Prices are competituve. Everything is very clean. Take plenty of water hose and electrical cord with you. Our sewer hookup was midway on the site. The electric and water were at the back. We highly recommend this RV park, and will stay there whenever our travels take us to the Brownsville, Texas area.

The manager Nora is so friendly càring and welcoming! We are stàying ina cottage in the park. It's so cute and had everything we needed. I'm enjoying the pool and jacuzzi. I even am making new friends. My husband and I are seriously thinking of buying a home in the park or bringing ina new mobile home.

We stayed here for a month in December of 2019. We absolutely loved it. The lots are nice and big. Employees are always very attentive to your every need. The park is clean, neat and very well maintained. I felt at home as soon as we got there. Met so many people and continue to be in contact with them. Close to SPI and all the hot spots.

Stayed there for 3 months in 2020. Staff is very friendly and helpful, especially the maintenance man. Needed to use Spectrum for internet & ruku service plus electric is not included. Dirt/gravel parking can be messy. Safe, secure, friendly, fair priced, excellent location, friendly park residences. DEFINITLY Needs a dog park. BEWARE: you will need atleast 50ft of power cord if your trailer hooks up at the very back and mors if it hooks up in the middle or front and atleast 75ft of hoses. Other parks in/near Los Fresnos are not fenced or are extremely noisy because of freeway (especially those in Harlengen). Would I stay here again. Definitely. If the park had all paved sites and parking with better lawns this park would be packed all the time. Nice distance between sites but sewer hookups are in middle between sites instead of behind trailers. Spectrum and electrical will cost you another $150 a month. Average $700 a month for regular site and higher for a paved site.

We had a very nice time at Palmdale. The owner Ted was very nice and generally concerned if every thing was going good with our stay. Nora and her receptionists were so nice to help with any questions we had. The spaces are nice and big. Pool,hot tub and shower rooms were always nice and clean. Truman and Sharon always has an activity going to keep us busy. Have to give a shout out to Bill and Linda for going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and showing us all the hotspots on the island. Ted, you have a very nice park and we enjoyed our stay. “ We will be back.” Save our spot!

We're fulltimers. Over the years, we have stayed at almost 100 campgrounds. This is the first one we'd consider moving to permanently when we can no longer continue our nomadic lifestyle. We stayed here for 7 months. The people here are wonderful. From our first day here, they made us feel like part of the community. The park is clean and the sites are roomy. The only problem we had was that the electric post is too far back. We had to go up the street to Walmart to pick up an extension cord. End of problem. Another good thing about this campground is its location. It's about halfway between Harlingen and Brownsville, and 25 miles from South Padre Island. There's no cable at this campground so if you want cable, you have to call Spectrum Cable to set up an account. It cost $34 for installation, then about $55 per month for basic cable which includes the sports channels, Travel, Animal Planet, etc. They offer several premium packages that include HBO and other channels that you might want, but we didn't need them. We used the campground's wifi and had no problem with it. I'd recommend Palmdale to anyone interested in spending the winter in South Texas.
