Palmantiers Motel - Motel in Minerva - 13371 Lincoln St SE, USA

This motel is a great location to Minerva. The rooms are large with a microwave, larger frig than is normal in a motel room and a nice table with chairs. Room 7 has a wonderful shower and bright lighting. A recliner and chair gives space to relax and view the flat screen TV. Most of all it is so very clean and spacious. Rainey who operates the motel is a sweetheart and will help make your stay comfortable. We definitely will stay again. Jon and Vickie

We were in town for my dad's high school reunion. This place was above and beyond. The whole place was immaculate. The bathroom was a charming mix of retro and modern, with black and white tiled shower and LED lighting and automatic soap dispenser. The shared kitchen was well stocked. The hostess was friendly and kind. Highly recommend. Will be back next time I visit.

Was in town visiting family and this was the perfect place to stay. Way better than any chain hotel. The rooms are relaxing and had everything we needed and if it doesn’t the community kitchen did. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying the country. The owners are so friendly and welcoming. Was so wonderful staying there.

We also stayed at Palmantiers during Flite Fest 2024. The room was super clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. |The room had a very comfortable bed, a table setting to eat, and a big recliner. AC worked great after very hot days.|Cooked on the grill a few times. The garage seating area is shaded and a nice place to relax.|So thankful to support this sweet family business!|We will definitely be back!

Great. Quiet and low-key. This place is homey. It is NOT grey and sterile. If you want glamour, don't come here. If you want comfortable and mellow, this is the place to be. How nice to have the same person to talk to for check-in and again the next morning and again the next afternoon... Rainy is a warm, gracious, and accommodating hostess. I did not hesitate to ask for help when I needed it and we had some very good conversations, too.

Palmantier's has been an institution in the Minerva area since I was a kid here in the 50's & 60's. And while it didn't have the greatest reputation at times, that was with previous ownership. Rainey and her husband are the new owners and they have done a wonderful job building it up to a clean and comfortable motel. I've stayed here twice for a week each time. It is clean and quiet and the staff is wonderful. If you're visiting family or friends in the Minerva area, this is really the only option within a reasonable drive. And let me tell ya... No chain hotel manager will give you a thank you/goodbye hug like Rainey did when I left. Like family. You'll love your stay!

We spent 3 nights at the motel. Rainie was an excellent Hostess & made sure we were well taken care of! We visited with her Daughter Tracy & Gregor, their sweet German Shepherd while sitting in the attached garage one day. It was so peaceful! The Community Kitchen was open to all, & there was coffee, tea, & snacks. Everything you could want was there. The room was big & spotless. We highly recommend it. Also, there's a swimming pool & Rainie's flowers around the property are gorgeous!!! I'm adding a photo of the sunrise.
