UNLIVEABLE....As a single man , despite having looked at the place I thought I'd give it a shot and went ahead and booked a week. After two nights II decided on a better standard of living and checked out at the crack of dawn. The rooms need a ton of work. I don't recommend it for children. The management said they would refund my money for the unspent nights but never did. I'm going to try calling them occasionally to see if they bring in someone with better communication skills. They seem very nice though.

Stayed here for Coachella Weekend 1 (2015). After booking, I read all of the recent reviews. Richard K's reviews (on this website) made me extremely nervous. When I checked in, my friends and I received a warm welcome from Ken and his friendly staff (even though it was close to 9PM). || When entering the room, I was searching for chewed gum, trash on the floor and....bugs..... Fortunately, I didn't find any!! But I was not able to sleep that night since one of my friends taunted me with the fact that bugs will crawl out from the floor and attack me in my sleep (luckily no bugs attacked me during my stay). || The room is actually clean and honestly, it impressed me because the room also has a microwave, fridge/freezer, stove and sink, and a direct TV box (least in my room). I wouldn't have asked for anything more than a bed, bathroom, fridge, and TV. Also, I would like to mention that one of the staff member (unfortunately, I forgot to get his name) do come around once a day to clean the room. || The only downside I can think of was the shower water pressure. On the first night we stayed there, the water pressure was good (we believed it's because there are a few of us staying there). While on other nights (when there were more people staying) the water pressure was a bit weak, though I'm not complaining since the water was still hot. ||||I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a budget friendly place to stay for a Coachella, StageCoach, for anything that is happening in Indio, CA

If you're use to nice hotels and motels you'll have the same opinion but if you live in a small town with few motels you'll think differently. || 1.) 1 good thing is the Manager or owners of the hotel, are very nice with me.||2.) The floorings are beautiful, the AC works pretty good so far.||3.) Basic good channels on Directv||I haven't asked about the WiFi yet if they have it or not.||4.) Small simple bathroom||5.) Walk in tiny closet||6.) 1 lamp light hanging not working, next to the closet||7.) I looked for microwave and fridge there aren't any. |For the price I paid I can say there are about 4 motels cheaper and has it.||8.) I'm sorry to say I'm not comfortable with the smell I hope it disappear later. You know when you open a fridge that has been close and unplug for more than few days that's what I had been smelling. I hope I don't get sick the odor is kind of strong because I trained myself not to smell the bad stuff unless it's very strong, because I try to breathe through my mouth.|I just hope it's just me and it will go away, and hopefully it's not asbestos or something.|On this review pls. try it for yourself|2nd front room left corner facing hwy 111.|

I have stayed here a few times before. The price is great and I have never had any issues. I was really impressed this last visit. Although no remodeling was done the room was like a new room. The place was clean and everything was dress right dress.

Sparkling clean. No frills but retro comfortable. Satellite tv, wifi. Furnished outlet adapter. Just made me chuckle. Very nice attendant. Would stay again. Would have liked a pool, but then the price would be more I am sure. How many times do we really use the pool?

I do not get disgusted easily, but we arrived late and were greeted by a friendly manager named Ken, who gave us a key. We should've had a clue about the room though, when there were only three cars in the parking lot. Entering the room, there was gum on one wall, a stained shower curtain, with a live caterpillar, and then we opened the sofa for my son, and there was no sheets for it, but trash flew out of the sofa that had obviously not been cleaned for awhile, including a partially eaten mint Oreo. When I went to check out the next day, I mentioned this to the individual at the front desk and her told me that that room key had not been given back early enough and he hadn't had time to clean the room. With only three cars in the lot, you'd think that they would have been able to prepare a room for us. Very disappointed in the cleanliness of this motel, and this is the first time that I've ever written a negative review about a location.

First, let me say that we stayed here during Desert Trip and were lucky to get a room so close to the venue with no prior notice. The rate was a little high, for the room, but it was during Desert Trip. There are many good things to say about the room so let me start with that. The room was large and it had a comfortable bed and it was clean and there was more than adequate drawer space. The bathroom, though dated, was more than adequate. The room was quiet. There was a refrigerator and a microwave and wifi was free. My only real complaint is that there were no chairs in the room so sitting on the bed was the only option. The bed was a poster style and was extremely high so I, being a senior citizen and under 5'4" had a difficult time getting in and out of the bed. A footstool would have remedied this. We borrowed a chair from the patio outside and that helped. The room was also very dark, with only 2 night table lamps but we were able to open the drapes during the day. There never seem to be enough electrical plugs, in any hotel, and this was true here as well. I must warn you that the pictures here on Trip Advisor are not accurate in regards to the pool. The pool was filled in with dirt and is now just an eyesore. It appeared that there were once tables on the patio outside of the rooms but now there are just metal rods sticking up out of the ground. The only chairs are on the patio that is behind the office. There is no hairdryer, iron or coffee maker so, if you plan on staying here, you may want to bring your own. It's a shame that the pool was filled in... From the picture, it looks like it would have added greatly to our stay.

1. I didn't know motels could be this bad. Some highlights||- Shower drain was clogged||- Only 1 key and it didn't work on the deadbolt||- Sheets weren't made right and were dirty.||- AC vent was broken and faced directly at the bed and basically froze the person sleeping there||||2. The owner is shady and we got scammed out of almost $400.||Story: We called in advance to see if we could cancel the first night of our reservation and reduce it from 4 nights to 3 nights. They agree to it. We arrive the day of our reservation and they conveniently tell us their policy of a 3 night policy minimum, so we'll have to pay the full. "But we are staying 3 nights," we say. "Oh. Uhhh... the policy states that you can only cancel the last nights of the reservation, not the first." What kind of nonsense policy is that? We ended up paying the extra $400 for the night we didn't stay since Coachella had already started and not like we were going to find another place. I sincerely believe the owner unscrupulously took advantage of our situation and how much we were paying.
