Palm Motel - Motel in Kissimmee - 4519 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, USA

I stayed in only a month and I have to say this place had cleaned up so nicely. Everything new in room, bed so nice. The ladies are professional and if need anything fixed, they are on top of it. I love staying here with my small toy dog and cat, felt safe too. Outside of area had cleaned up, pool is awesome. Thank you all for making this place feel like Home!

Coming into this hotel when we just needed a place to sleep with our kids to rest our heads at night until we found a place, I work full time and am working hard for my kids while my husband cared for the kids. We told the owners we had a medium sized dog who's also an emotional support animal never would harm a soul they were completely aware. They kicked me and my children out saying we didn't mention having our dog. They are heartless. I also pay on time and ahead and we were very clean, the hotels are dirty and have mold traps hanging. We made the place more clean than it was being we have a newborn baby as well. They found any reason they could to kick us out and could care less about giving us time to find another place.

This motel was the grossest place I've ever stayed at. It was extremely dirty and the room smelled nasty like a mix between un-wiped butt and sweaty arm pits. I only stayed one night out of desperation - it was very late and I needed some sleep. What a bad decision that was. I ended up with crabs from the dirty unchanged sheets and my luggage was hijacked by bed bugs which later infested my home. I traced them back to this horrible motel a month later. I complained to the manager about the filthy conditions and he laughed and said that's what you get for the money around here. I'll give you a coupon for some itch cream and let's call it a day. Just appalling in every sense of the word. This place should be condemned, it is that disgusting and hazardous to health.||||Beware!!!!!

This motel is full of roaches and fleas. It is like the worst place to stay in. The owners of this motel are a bunch of creeps that like to tamper with peoples mail. They cut the heaters, water and the phones off when ever they please. Thier pool is very filthy. The ground outside smell like animal poop. They do not bother cleaning up this place. The rooms inside have mildew. If you want to have a good time do not come to this motel. You will regret it. Especailly when you are sitting down trying to eat and wind up seeing a roach either by your plate of food or inside your plate of food. They are so grimey they threw the guest they had here out to take other people in. I will never recamend nobody to this place.

A purely honest review from someone who has stayed here off and on for years, under different managers running this hotel. What makes it so good are the owners, they are just good people who care about other human beings. I have watched them be kind and understanding to rough characters who caused trouble and even those not paying their bill on time (please don't use that comment to take advantage of these people, this is a business after all). The maid has been with them a long time and takes good care of the linens and rooms. The current manager is capable and keeps the hotel under control and safe. This is a drug area but this hotel is less of a haven for dealers because of the owner's oversight AND the security cameras that keep watch 24/7 at EVERY corner of the hotel. Local Police have contacts in the hotel staff and they crack down on criminals as quick as they can, the drug areas in town have been cleaned up around here a lot in the last year. The pool is currently down with a problem but when it is running it is sparkling and well maintained by a pool service company. It is the most hotel pool in this whole area, surrounded by a grove of towering Palm trees that separate the hotel from the busy road. There is a bus stop RIGHT in front of the hotel, jump on it and you are on a 10 minute ride to Disney World. A Super Walmart is right across the street, supplying all of your needs. The Palm is 200 feet away from Billy Boy's Tickets- one of the biggest, if not the biggest, discount attraction tickets sellers in Florida- no time shares just tickets. If you have a big group you can overlap guests into the two hotels the Palm is sandwiched between right next door on both sides- the Paradise and the Parkway. The rooms are comfortable and many have been renovated, all have new big TVs on the wall. Refrigerators and microwaves in every room. Pets allowed, cats and dogs- dogs run off leash more than they should but there are rarely complaints (only from the cat people!) As a non smoker I think the smokers (truly 80% of the guests) are a pain in the butt they have benches to use to keep others out of the smoke but many stand in front of their rooms- including those who I have stayed with. They cannot really be stopped. Cars are safe in the parking lot here, there is currently a limit of one car per room but I don't think it is being strongly enforced. The Air Conditioners work well but are kind of loud (I think), the maintenance guy John is good at what he does, he can fix most anything and he is a nice guy. Him and his wife used to manage here so they know the drill. There are a lot of monthly residents who LIVE here so you will see the police here often, there will be domestic disputes, drug dealers still will come, drunks will still knock on your door at weird hours. But that is common for this area. They have a thorough and on schedule bug prevention program, I have never heard of anyone on site complaining of bed bugs. Roaches show up but they spray and bait the hotel with a professional company and keep records of each room's treatments. Towels are fresh and plenty, toilet paper is not given out in four packs, but in singles to reduce over use, most likely. Carpets are shampooed regularly, many have been replaced recently. The Palm motel is at least 10% better than the competition though. There internet has it's ups and downs but it has been working good and consistent as of late. The laundry room currently has two new washers and dryers, commercial size of course. The maid uses a different and even bigger washer. My review is honest and true, holding back nothing good or bad, I like the owners but I will not lie to paint a better picture than it is here. Good people make a good hotel! Here we were, trying to find a decent motel along the 192 area, some place affordable, and close to Disney. We stopped at the Parkway Motel and found it to be a wonderful little tucked away motel. Surrounding it are crack motels, stay away from them. But this room was clean and affordable, with very friendly staff who see to your every need :) We loved this place, and there is an irish pub right in front of it too :)

Quiet, gorgeous pool with palm trees all around it. Nice, mature staff. Tables on balcony areas to relax. I thought that it was a gem in the area. Would stay there again. Not perfect but excellent for the price and peaceful. Right across the street from a Super Walmart store. Handy.

The young gentle working as front desk clerk will was extremely nice when we checked in and maintenance young man was very respectful and friendly and told us if we need anything fixed to let him know. The room is very nice and comfortable.the maintenance guy Robert.is always cleaning up
