Palm Garden Hotel - Hotel in Thousand Oaks - 495 N Ventu Park Rd, USA

Had the best time at my nephew’s 3rd poolside birthday party! Amazing service and staff. The cabana was perfect. Also reserved the Hollywood Suite. Such a great family staycation. Big thank you to Daniel for treating us like rock stars!! Loved our night swim and club like atmosphere. Kids had a blast.

The front desk person didn't show any hospitality. A smile costs nothing! There was no lock in the bathroom. The hotel had an exterior corridor. We could hear every conversation from outside. The room was big, and the bathroom was decent. The breakfast was good: eggs with veggies, omelette, links, potatoes, oatmeal with raisins and blueberries. I would add fruits. Oranges were the only fruit there, and they weren't ripe. Yogurt would be nice as well.

Great hotel! Definitely a hidden gem in Thousand Oaks. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Oxnard/Camarillo/Ventura area. ||My family and I came for a baseball tournament in nearby Camarillo and noticed that this hotel was rated very high. In my opinion this hotel is an excellent value. The hotel room was recently remodeled and was very comfortable for my family of 4. The bathroom was big and accommodating as well. The hotel has also gotten a facelift and looks very classy and up to date.||What I loved most about the hotel is the theming and decorations are well done throughout the hotel. The new restaurant/lounge is awesome and I really loved that as a hotel guest you are given two free drink tickets every single night of your stay. Note: you must stop by the front desk and ask for those drink tickets! | Selmy's (the restaurant/lounge) is a very nice place for a date night or just a cool place to stop in and have a bite/drink. I wish I had taken photos, but I will definitely stop by Selmy's when I'm passing by. ||My kids loved the pool/spa and loved that it's huge and accommodating for all ages with plenty of seating along the pool. The only thing my kids complained about was the breakfast options. My kids wished there were either pancakes or waffles as an option aside from the daily: scrambled eggs, roasted potatoes, sausages, cereal, oatmeal, bagels, and toast. ||Either way, I am still rating this hotel 5 out of 5 because of the excellent value it provided. I would recommend this boutique hotel to anyone and everyone visiting or traveling through the area.

A pretty nice place, just pretty expensive for what it is. Seems like the prices are better in SF but we were looking at a college for my son in the area, but this was a last minute booking and they were able to get me a room at the front desk. People at the front are super 👍 nice and helpful ❤️🙏. Only reason it isn't more stars is that the air conditioning in the room was horrible. It squeaked the whole day/ night and barely put out any air. Room was ultra stuffy when we got in and they sent a maintenance worker that said it's just like that he was sorry and it does take awhile. Water pressure in the shower was super low and wasn't as hot as it could have been. The cleaning and decorating was ADORABLE 🥰. The pool was very nice. We will.come back but will.ask for a room with better air and water next time. Thank you for being so clean.

This is more like a destination than a hotel. The grounds are fabulous, with outdoor pool, gazebo and well maintained lush landscaping. Reminded me of Hawaii. The rooms are very comfortable, well appointed with modern touches and amenities. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Thank you Lauren. Selvin's Restaurant and Lounge recently opened on premises. Wow. A very nice combination. We loved staying here. The included breakfast was fabulous.

With a few minor fixes the rooms would go to four stars. 1. The towels are rough and the bath towel is too small. 2. No robes. 3. The sheets were pilled, they almost felt like flannel. 4. The TV service is horrible. The video kept stopping and starting. 5. Be careful of the ledge in the shower. There's a trough in the front of the shower where the drain is set. I nearly turned ankle when I backed closer to the shower head and my foot slipped down the inch drop of the trough. 6. There's no tub nor is there a shower wand. If you have little ones, I don't know how you will wash them. 7. Shower water pressure is anemic. 8. The pillows are not great. 9. The breakfast did not look appetizing, I passed. 10. The rooms are neat and tidy. 11. AC is good. 12. Third floor room is quiet. 13. There's a fridge and microwave. Pulling up to the Palm Garden is not impressive. I was prepared to leave if the rooms matched the exterior. Once you go past the check-in the outdoor space is really nice with a big pool, ping pong and plenty of different areas to lounge.

Our stay at The Palm Garden Hotel was simply delightful. The staff were exceptional, consistently polite and professional, ensuring a warm welcome and seamless service throughout our visit. The hotel exuded a great vibe, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The pool area was a highlight, providing a fun and refreshing retreat during our downtime. Our room was superb, offering both comfort and convenience, and its proximity to the hotel's vibrant evening activities made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel's bar was another standout feature, offering a fantastic selection of drinks in a cozy and inviting setting. Overall, The Palm Garden Hotel exceeded our expectations in every aspect, and we can't wait to return for another wonderful experience.

Very nice hotel with upscale feel for an average price .. clean rooms with tiled floors updated bathrooms, lots of windows with lowered blinds for privacy, coffee, frig, microwave, acceptable mattresses and pillows, nice linens, ONLY one chair in the double queen room, quiet effective thruwall AC, adequate lighting and USB charging ports. Beautiful grounds and very nice pool, and better than average free breakfast buffet. Just checked our daughter into California Lutheran University and selected this property to stay at ... EXCEPTIONAL all around. Highly Recommended
