Palihouse West Hollywood - Featured Reviews (82)
My friend and I just stayed here for an extended weekend trip. The style of this hotel is just fantastic. Very beautifully designed. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! Michael the bartender was exceptional. Walking distance to so many great shops (Magnolia bakery + LaLa Land just across the street and so much more). If you stay in a room facing the street it can get a little loud (not the hotels fault) but they do provide ear plugs which work great! We felt very safe while staying here, though I will admit we didn’t walk outside past 9pm. Would recommend!
As a first-timer from Indonesia, staying at Palihouse West Hollywood was a wonderful experience! 🛋️ The interior design is absolutely charming—we fell in love with the color choices, the thoughtful placement of furniture, and the overall vibe.
It’s got this mix of vintage and modern that just works so well together.
The place is super comfortable, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They made me feel comfortable, which is so important when you’re visiting a new city for the first time.
I stayed at the Palihouse West Hollywood during the summer of 2024. I had an amazing experience! When I walked in, I was greeted with a smile. The front desk was very helpful. The hotel was very nice and was one of the more affordable options in the area. It is in a very convenient location as well. Overall, I had an amazing experience at this hotel.
Wonderful experience here a few days ago. During a road trip back to Los Angeles we decided to book a one night stay here for the last night out our trip.
The hotel was a dream and the service was incredible. Shout out to Jonathan for making the process so seamless and memorable :)
There’s no entry for their cafe / bar so I guess I’ll review them here. I went for brunch today with a friend, but it wasn’t good. Server was nice but not welcoming. Food was fine but very basic - it was basic diner standard. And no condiments or salt and pepper or even butter for the toast on table, and not offered which is very odd. I had to ask for it all and he seemed annoyed. Then after we paid we were finishing coffees and the manager turned up the music so loud we couldn’t hear each other talk. Incredibly rude. Avoid for brunch. La la and Joan’s were packed and we will return to those next time.
The Palihouse West Hollywood is a fine hotel. It's clean, well maintained, the people are nice, the mattress was great but there were a couple of things that brought it way down. Some were purely due to location and some a result of the hotel itself. We were there from Thursday through Monday morning for our daughters graduation from UCLA. It was an important time in our lives. But my wife and I were woken up two-three-four-five times a night depending on the night. Between the ambulances going to nearby Cedar Sinai, cars and motorcycles revving their engines at all hours and constant partying and shouting by other guests at literally all hours, we were zombies for the whole trip. Double pane windows would solve both the location and noise from other rooms coming in through the window problems. The hotel charges guests $48 for valet parking every day. The hotel pre-charges $50 for the fully stocked fridge and snack basket and refunds the charge upon check-out. Perhaps these are industry standard prices but they felt like greedflation. The sinks are pedestal sinks (beautiful) with nowhere to put your toothbrush or other toiletries except on a shelf near the floor or behind you on a shelf next to the shower. The lighting is literally one-sided. The shower head is straight above you (a nice touch) but the water pressure is weak. Our hotel is one of a chain that did such a good job with their location in Westwood that we didn't hesitate to book the Palihouse in West Hollywood. An expensive mistake.
Wolfgang's response saying that our experience was not a true representation of the hotel is a clever way to come across as caring while undermining the value and truth of our experience. I can't speak for others staying at the hotel. Had we been given a room facing the courtyard our experience might have been different. But my review is no less valid.
I have stayed here twice and the first was lovely. Then last weekend we stayed for two nights and did not get any sleep due to the unbelievable noise coming from the restaurant/bar until 3am. They had a DJ and it sounded like it was in our room...earplugs didn't help at all. They really shouldn't sell those rooms near the bar or at least warn the guests if there is going to be a loud party. Ridiculous
We came here for an event.
They offer cocktail pitchers. And the food is great.
We order the American burger and baked chorizo clams. The burger was tasty as well as the chorizo clams. 😋 we will be coming back for brunch.
The only reason why I give this place 4 stars is because of the layout. It’s not ideal for a
Drag show.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Staff were super friendly, rooms were clean and spacious and the bedding was incredibly comfy! Loved the free coffee & pastries each morning. If you have a car, the secure parking is so worth it & made us fee

I was amazed by the authentic Japanese cuisine at UKA, and being Japanese myself, I believe this restaurant truly captures the essence of our culinary heritage. The chefs' attention to detail brought out flavors that transcended mere appearance, leav

I can't speak more highly of this amazing establishment. My friends and I came hungry and were treated to some of the most authentic and delicious plant-based / cruelty-free dishes. I ordered a little assortment and each one became my favorite!

Valentina and Helen are absolutely wonderful trainers. They always go out of their way to help everybody out: always giving adjustments to improve posture and performance. I always book a session when one of them is there. They also play great music.
My time at this gym has been nothing short of exceptional! I recently hit my 1 year anniversary and am proud to be a member of CrossFit Echo Park. At first I was hesitant about joining CrossFit in general due to thinking it was just a bunch of rugged
