Palatine Inn Restaurant - American restaurant in Palatine - 95 W Northwest Hwy, USA

Everyone there was so welcoming & patient. My coffee was refilled multiple times. It was the best matzo ball soup I've had & the Mediterranean Wrap was insanely delicious!!! My kids gave Palatine Inn 100 stars... Out of ten.

I checked the menu on their website before visiting. The prices were much higher in the restaurant than what they advertised on their website. I ordered the Roast Turkey Breast dinner and was quite disappointed that it was not from a roast, it was extremely thin sliced deli meat. If that was not sad enough the mashed potatoes were reconstituted potato flakes. I know this because I got a chunk of dry flakes that had not been properly mix in. I gave two stars because our waitress was friendly and accommodating and the side salad was a decent size, fresh and colorful.

Mark was an excellent server! Asked for grilled onions with my dinner and he even brought them in a separate plate so I could rash in my own amount. Came by just enough times and had a good personality. Thanks for making it an enjoyable dinner, Mark.

Here’s an honest review. Been here once before, food was good. Today I went alone. Wanted to sit by the bar area. Sit, 5 minutes nobody acknowledged my presence. Finally I get a water. Then I hear can you take this one to a waitress? Ok then I get a nice lady to take order. The older man comes back of the bar and moves the creams and sugars and silverware in front of me without saying a work as I was about to fix my coffee?????? I asked why are you moving those things? He said this area is closed so now after being seated have to move just like that.? This costumer service is pure garbage. I had literally just ordered. I told the cashier to charge wherever I had ordered, paid and walked out. Did not even sip my coffee. Why was I treated this? I can go on a rabbit hole here and say oh it’s because I’m Latino? But I just believe it’s the lack of better costumer service training. Never going there again.

This was my first time here, and it was so enjoyable. The waitress was very attentive, the restaurant was very clean and the food was very good. I had the hot beef with mashed potatoes. I will definitely be back one day soon!

Great place for lunch. Our server Mary was terrific! We were a big group. Hostess Ashley was all smiles.

I went last December. I wondered if this was Omelette or not. It was like flat mixed pancake.

Great food. They also serve awesome breakfast, all day long. They don't light the saganaki up in front of you, so it kind of ruins the experience but it was delicious. The Greek pork chops were juicy and delicious. Huge portion. Sorry I forgot to take pictures right away. It's a nice place to still have open, with a huge menu. 3 home made soups every day. They also have a bar! Huge plus. Im glad we found this place.
