Palace Lodge - Motel in Moundsville - 3759 McCreary\'s Ridge Rd, USA

It is very conveniently located next to the temple. We go there to spiritually recharge and be ready to come for a life filled with hustle and bustle. Please note that this is a temple filled with a spiritual environment and not a hotel or resort but rather a pilgrimage.

It was our first time and we absolutly loved it. Lots of palces to go and take breath taking pirtures, rooms are clean and big, lots of parking around the place, food was amazing, amazing vibes, you can see peacocks, cows, deers, swans, ducks, turtles and lots of other wildlife.

Very spiritual place, great food, especially the dosa. Very clean rooms. They also have a lot of things to do near by ( zip line) hiking trails, beautiful palace and gardens etc., Hare Krishna Sridevi & Hrushikesh.

This was a gorgeous and glorious retreat, I wish I'd been able to stay longer! I'll definitely be back again ^_^ It's beautiful, serene, and has so much scenery and history to enjoy! I'm grateful my fiance took us here <3

I’ve stayed here multiple times. The rooms are simply appointed, but clean and modern. I’ve stayed in smaller units with a shared bathroom and a double-queen with private bath. The greatest feature, as real estate agents would say, is location, location, location. It’s right next to the Temple complex and in the same building as the restaurant and express (quicker food options). Gorgeous ponds with exotic birds are just steps away, and there are hiking trails throughout the property. There is a small playground for children, a goshala, organic gardens, etc. to visit. And of course, the world-famous Palace of Gold is within walking distance and not to be missed. The staff was always friendly and accommodating when I had a particular need or question. They can also familiarize you with the area and a free shuttle taking you to some of the Moundsville attractions.

Our experience at the New Vrindaban Palace Lodge was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness and the welcoming atmosphere. The lodge provided a safe and kid-friendly environment, making it an ideal choice for families. One of the standout features of our stay was the breathtaking view surrounding the lodge. The serene and quiet surroundings allowed us to unwind and appreciate the beauty of nature. We were enthralled by the presence of peacocks and other birds, which added a touch of magic to the entire experience. What made our stay even more memorable was the convenience of parking right outside our cabin. This allowed us to easily attend the temple events and seamlessly transition between the lodge and the temple. It was wonderful to be able to immerse ourselves in the temple's activities while enjoying the comfort and amenities of the lodge. We would like to express our gratitude to the staff/volunteers of the New Vrindaban for their warm hospitality and the excellent amenities provided. The combination of cleanliness, a family-friendly atmosphere, stunning views, and easy access to temple events made our stay truly unforgettable. We highly recommend the New Vrindaban Palace Lodge to anyone seeking a peaceful and enriching retreat at the New Vrindaban.

New Vrindaban is a spiritual oasis. I always feel revitalized and inspired by the end of my visit. The Palace Lodge is always clean and the restaurant has the best vegetarian food in all of West Virginia! I feel as though I am visiting my home away from home.

Right next to the temple so makes it easy to visit, but as everyone else has said, for the price it's absolutely not worth it. Cabin 8 - 1 bed is broken, 1 ac doesn’t work, bathroom smells, bad Wi-Fi, vending machine doesn’t work, no TV and no staff to help until next noon(available only in daytime). For over $220 a night, we should have booked 20-25 mins away at a much nicer place. I absolutely do not recommend staying here. Staff (receptionist) is too rude, saying why you need ac when it is cool in the night, after charging @220$ a night? After 9 hrs of journey had a bad night on day 1 , with 2 more days to go.
