I recently stayed at this hotel for a week after a hurricane, and I was impressed with the customer service despite the challenging circumstances. Natalie at the front desk was an absolute gem. She was incredibly kind and helpful, using her own vehicle and gas to charge guests' phones. She also took on multiple roles, sweeping the property and cleaning rooms, all while maintaining a positive attitude.
Housekeeping came by daily to provide the essentials we needed. The rooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with a full refrigerator and stovetop, which was very convenient for cooking meals.
The property is quiet and well-kept, making it a great place to stay. The only downside was the lack of power after the storm, and I was still charged full price, which is why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service and comfortable accommodations.
Me and my significant other have been here for awhile now, and we absolutely love it here. It has everything we need and more! The staff makes us feel welcome and at home and that’s what we were looking for when we made the decision to move here for the time being. We have no complaints. Keep it up!
Nice rooms with a kitchen but we got this hotel thinking it was closer to our destination, booked for a week, tried to refund the rest only stayed two nights, they charged us for 3 nights and gave a small refund . They kept an extra $110 or so from me , and paid full price for the two nights. So instead of paying the $95 a night, we paid over $150 a night for two nights, Other than that good place to stay. Very clean and new building etc. I hate leaving negative reviews , but when u keep my money for no reason after u just made couple hundred off me ……. Well
"I recently stayed at Palace Inn in Arcola, Texas, and I had a fantastic experience. One of the standout features of this hotel is the lovely kitchenettes they offer. The kitchenettes are well-equipped and have everything you need to prepare your own meals, making it convenient and cost-effective for longer stays. The full-sized refrigerators in the kitchenettes were a great addition, providing ample space to store groceries and beverages.
Another aspect that truly stood out was the extremely friendly and helpful staff. The employees at Palace Inn were always ready to assist and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. Their warm and welcoming attitude made me feel like a valued guest throughout my stay.
Above all super clean rooms.
Took a chance and reserved for three nights and I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of this motel/hotel. The room was large, clean, and nicely laid out, the bed was comfortable, and the wifi was strong. My suggestions: a non slip bathtub mat would be great, as well as a full length mirror.
So I just stayed at the new Palace Inn hotel off of 6 & 521. Very nice & clean, it did just open. The staff made it very easy for me to check in and came outside, in this freezing weather, to show me where I could park & not inconvenience other guest, very helpful. Rates were only $85. for the weekend, where other hotels charge 2 or 3 times that amount. Definitely will be staying here in the future.
This is more of a motel but I would say it's more of a higher-end motel. The rooms are very clean and spacious. And I found it to be very quiet. Considering it was a motel I did not experience any unsavory behavior from anyone.
I really had my doubts when I got there and see the area was a little sketchy. But it turned out to be a good place to stay. Not a 5 stars hotel but passable. Front desk lady was nice 👌
