Room 110 • All I can say is that this stay was absolutely great. Our room, bedding, sheets, the sofa, kitchen & restroom area... just the overall stay was Very clean. It had a popcorn machine, margarita machine, a keurig coffee maker, everything needed for cooking and game system for the kids 👌🏼 Just a perfect stay for your vacation. I'm definitely booking this room again.

Worst vacation in 20 years here at the coast. First off, when we arrived we were told that we did not have a place for our small 5x8 trailer and could park it on the road (there was no room unless they mean the bicycle lane) and we were charged $25 a night for a storage facility miles away. The rental agreement said nothing about trailers, only RVs, campers, pop-ups and boat trailers. The room itself was well below what we were expecting. The a/c is a Nest which goes to 78 during the day and you have no control. The rooms were super hot at night and it was impossible to sleep. Our stay was 5/29-6/3, so I can't imagine what it will be like for those in the hot part of summer. Also, the only TV is in the living room. None of the rooms had a TV. We received 1 towel and 1 washcloth each for a week, so we were constantly running the washer/dryer combo that was super loud and stunk! The bathroom had mold on the baseboards and some red mystery goo running down the wall. The ceilings are super low in the hallways and bathrooms which give you a claustrophobic feeling (see pic with my husband who is 6'2". If you swim at the pool, one of the other residents is recording everything with their Ring camera pointed right at you off the balcony. An uncomfortable feeling when your two daughters are swimming. This place is nothing what it looks like in the pictures. There is constant construction right outside the rooms day and night, and a mattress in front of the entrance on the ground that has been there since the first day. I'm glad we weren't in the rooms a lot. I wouldn't stay here again if it was free. By the way, this is my very first negative review. I usually give a lot of grace, but this was just beyond awful.

Kind of ridiculous. They have an offer right now where you can book for one night so I chose a place for myself for $95. When I clicked the tab to book it, it turns out the one night stay shot up to $338! What the heck?!? For a one night $95 stay, you have to pay a $59 reservation fee, a $140 cleaning fee and then you have to pay the 15% taxes on ALL of those things which was $44. Taxes were almost half the price of the initial $95. In total, 72% of final $338 price was all in fees and taxes! I promptly canceled that reservation.

We stayed at Mystic Harbor - Island Dreams CMH101K Labor Day Weekend. The one bedroom condo was great for us. We did bring our own Kuerig coffee maker since this condo has a 12 cup drip and we didn't want to buy filters and coffee just for the weekend. We also brought our own bath towels, kitchen towels, paper towels, etc. We just put the items the condo provided to the side and when we cleaned/checked out put them back out where they were. We enjoyed the location since we go to the beach at the National Seashore. Having the pool available was also great. We loved the unit was an end unit and on first floor. Easy access to the pool area and having the water view from balcony was very nice. We went to grocery store before checking in so we made most of our meals vs. going out to eat. We just wanted to relax. We brought our firestick to hookup to the TV/internet and were able to watch all our programs (college football .. LOL). The only complaint we had was the mattress. It is definitely in need to be replaced. Hoping the owners take that feedback and purchase a new one. If they had that OMG it would be five stars all around. We did not fish but there were definitely people fishing off the dock there. I don't know if they got anything but they were enjoying their time. Last which was great .. the condo has the luggage trolly things to help you carry items to your condo.

Great experience! We stayed at El Constante in Corpus. Location was wonderful, right on the beach. ALSO the day after we checked out I realized I left my wedding rings! I called and they had people immediately check the room, my rings were still there! They shipped them to my home and I'm so grateful!!

My wife and I take a month long trip to North Padre Island and we are going on four years with Padre Escapes. We prefer a local vacation company versus a national so that we have someone local we can call on if need be. When we first booked with them we went to their office and found the entire staff to be kind and helpful. It makes it so much better for us to have them local and they have always responded to our needs as soon as we contact them. They have so many beautiful rentals to choose from and we have stayed in several of them and all are well equipped with everything we need. Since we had a entire month we decide to look at various ones and they were all so helpful in allowing us to go in and see them. We highly recommend Padre Escapes for a fun and worry free vacation!

Excellent experience- condo #112 steps from beach, clean, well stocked & property well kept. Great customer service & flawless communication. Only thing needs to be replaced is sofa bed mattress. Not much of a mattress but thankfully we took an air mattress. Other than that-El Constante managed by Padre Escapes was a wonderful experience!

Stayed at el Constante 110 which was a nice condo. Padre escapes however is very unprofessional in that they did not contact us to let us know our unit wasn’t ready at 4. We contacted them at 4:15 only to be told it wasn’t ready yet. We ran into the custodian at 4:30 who stated it had been ready since 4:10. He called the office and we were finally notified at 4:35 that it was ready. A call from the office would have put our minds at ease that all was ok with our reservation. Aside from the outdated shower head that worked improperly the condo was clean and in good order. The only problem we had was with parking. People with UTV’s and those without parking permits often took up many of the spaces in front of the condos. We called the office to report it and were told they would send someone out to take care of it but they never did and we had to deal with it the entire week. IMO every condo should have one parking space numbered for just that condo, assuring a space near their unit. Otherwise a decent place to stay.
