Called in for a refreshment in the heat mid-afternoon. Bar had plenty of options for draft and bottles. It was quiet enough to carry a conversation easily without having to shout, so that was good. Played some pool (4x25c a game) and others were playing darts. It gets busy rather quickly and looked to have its regulars when we walked past at night, which wasn't as welcoming for us, but worth a try during the day for sure.
I have mixed feelings about Paddy Wagon. I will say that it’s a nice bar with decent space inside and outside (about 8 or so outdoor tables under cover), with one pool table and dart boards. They have plenty of televisions to watch a game, and the bartender seemed cool.
I took off a star because there’s really no reason to call this an Irish pub. Pubs serve food, which this place does not. Serving Guinness and having some Guinness posters on the wall doesn’t make you an Irish pub. This is basically a modern bar with some Irish decorations and club music. That doesn’t mean it’s not a cool place, but I would never call it an Irish pub. Aside from all that it’s a nice spot to grab a drink in downtown Tampa, just don’t expect a pub.
We came here on a Christmas bar crawl and My Irish husband was denied, and kicked out of this “Irish pub” because they wouldn’t accept his IRISH driving license. He is about to turn 30 years old and they said that they require a passport as form of Id and could not accept an international driving license. Who goes out carrying their passport? The bar staff were pretty rude about the situation. This rule is crazy as there were no issues in any other of the 10 bars we were in that day, and no issues in any bars we were visited in St.Pete a few days prior. He was ID’ed in 90% of these places and not once was it an issue. This ridiculous “rule” seems to be made up for this place only. They must not want any international customers seeing as no smart person would go out drinking with their passport. Our whole group of about 15 people had to leave. Its not at all an Irish pub. Give this one a skip.
Bartender was great . Forget her name but friendly . Will be back
I was looking for a bar with a pool table and Paddy's fit the bill. If they had food, we would've stayed longer. Regardless, the service was great, the patrons were chill and it was not heavy on the wallet. I would recommend it for some fine day drinking, as I was there between 2 & 5pm.
Nice bar with plenty of good beers on tap to choose from.
Absolutely LOVE Paddy Wagon. I have been coming here for years and it’s my favorite bar in Tampa. Rob and Tyler are exceptional and are the reason we keep coming back. I will always bring visiting friends and family here to show it off. Plus, free darts?? Amazing. Thank you guys for being so incredible!!!
Love this place! Solid go to bar for downtown. Always reliable with great service. One of the rare places with a great pool table. Please change put the dart boards though! The bullseyes are trashed!

Really nice Irish Pub in the heart of Ybor. 50 taps!!! Plus a huge liquor selection. The food is excellent too! Parking is not ideal - there are 5-6 spots for the pub, but the rest is all pay-to-park. They also have punch cards for drafts and points
