Huge space with a really warm, cozy, old-school pub atmosphere. Food was phenomenal. Fried green tomatoes were definitely worth it, perfectly fried with a really amazing savory-sweet sauce. Beef stroganoff was out of this world, perfect portion size and just loaded with flavor. Really wanted dessert afterward but was just too full! My only complaint was that the pretzels (pretzel/beer cheese appetizer) were just okay. Felt like any other pretzel I've had before, nothing special. But everything else was definitely special. Also for those who care, they actually have a sign saying when their beer tap lines were last cleaned. So that's cool too.
This was my first time in Asheville and after a 7-hour drive I was pleasantly surprised with some really good food that made the entire drive worth it! The hotel staff recommended that I give this place a try and it was simply amazing! I started with the deviled eggs and the flavor today was Caesar salad and they were to die for. I also had an old fashioned that came with a brown sugar rim. I would highly recommend that you try this drink. For my entree I got the bison meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy. The meatloaf was absolutely phenomenal, and I'm sorry Grandma but they just cooked you out of the kitchen! I also have to mention the gravy on the potatoes as it was pretty amazing also. So good that I would actually eat this gravy off the floor. I will definitely be back before I leave for home to try something else off the menu.
When you have the confidence to serve your brisket with a spoon, you KNOW what you're serving and how you're serving it. This was our first meal upon arriving in Ashville. Pack's has the location, the atmosphere, and the food. They have an almost unfair advantage, but they are at least utilizing it to the fullest. I had the brisket mac, I spent most of my time just salivating with it in my mouth with a stupid grin on my face. My wife had a burger, she asked for medium well and she got medium well. The outdoor dining space was just as exciting as the indoor space. The host private events, they have a stone pizza oven, and the drinks were also top notch. My compliments to the chef. They also serve a house made Root Beer, weirdly enough I am a fan of custom brewed root beers and cream sodas and this one wasn't half bad, on the sweet side. The service is the only thing that could use some honing. The server staff was completely average. Hospitable enough, just nothing to brag about. We had two meals here over our 5 days, and the server forgot to put in my appetizer, they opted to let me have it with my dinner or cancel it. They made little effort to rectify the mistake, the only notable part of the experience was that I didn't find out about the mistake until roughly a minute before my actual meal arrived. Overall still a great experience and worth a visit if you are in the area.
Delicious! Only waited about 15 minutes to sit down for dinner. Our waitress was attentive and very friendly after a long night. We had the buffalo chicken dip (highly recommend), the brisket Mac n cheese, and the pot roast which were all very tasty. We will definitely be back here if we are in Asheville again!
Not a bad spot for happy hour. Great service and pretty nice interior. Very casual and comfortable after a long day of traveling and exploring for us. Loved the Mexican corn dip and the deviled eggs. Sounds like they have weekly specials with their deviled eggs and this week was a green eggs and ham theme. They were phenomenal. Would one hundred percent recommend going just for those honestly. Now for my standard comments. The location is clean and we were comfortable with the indoor seating options.
Pack’s Tavern is a historic building with great atmosphere in a fun part of town. On the south side down the steps they have lots of TVs with most the games on you want to watch. Great selection of libations and can’t go wrong on their starters. The Elotee corn dip is absolutely delicious. I could have ate another one or should have used that as my side. Their sides could use some work and creativity but still a 4 star spot.
We went bar hopping and I personally did not eat at this location so I cannot speak on the quality of the food. However the beer was great and had a nice atmosphere. Five Stars for the beers and memories. 👍🏼The yellow truck out front with the keg in the back is really neat. It’s marked “Juice Box” near the tail end. I found that quite clever. Good place to stop by while bar hopping.
Overall, the restaurant seems to have a good atmosphere, though our seats I'd rate a 3 star experience. Food was good, but really, that's over generous and portions were rather limited.
We went here for brunch on Saturday. Parking is just outside the restaurant, wasnât extremely crowded. I had the catfish poboy and my friend had buttermilk chicken sandwich with biscuit gravy on the side. We enjoyed our food. The fish was fresh and
This place has quite the inventive menu! We enjoyed everything we ordered, I was very impressed with the lobster bisque. The curry mussels were unique and delicious, the beet salad was fresh and beautiful, the dumplings were like eating an Asian pot
First time here...but was ssssoooooo good ð. This is the restaurant for the Hilton property. It's located downtown Biltmore Village, right across from the theater and 131 Restaurant. The food was excellent. Just remember to not order the Turkey
Casual spot with an inviting atmosphere. Outdoor seating with shade umbrellas. Frequent live music. Inside, the original brick & vaulted ceilings with wooden beams marry well with rustic & eclectic art. Approachable menu with great food, thoughtful c
Took my boyfriend to dinner here for his birthday. Gorgeous restaurant. Free valet. Always make a reservation if you wanna be in the dinning room. Very nice staff, delicious sides and steak! The Yukon mashed potatoes, creamed spinach and Mac and chee
Being here kind of reminds me of being at school in the cafeteria. I love that. They have an awesome variety of different dishes and sides, mostly comfort foods. I really enjoyed the food here, it was delicious, in good hefty portions, and well serve

This place is so great. Everything from the indoor fireplace, to the hot tub just outside the bedroom, to the HEATED FLOORS in the bathroom (not to mention heated toilet seat and bidet, even a heated towel rack!) They take it a step (or twelve) furth
Great experience! From first reaching out with general questions, to a quick and easy process of getting signed in to classes. The owner was great with communication. I walked into the 4:30pm class with Coach Donivan and with three years experience m
My wife and I enjoyed a two night stay over the New Years holiday weekend. We very much appreciated the attention given to the suite and the magnificent breakfast presentation each morning. Our hosts John and Susan were not only attentive but cordial
I was hesitant getting a spray tan because it had been years since I had one! Hannah made me feel very comfortable during the whole process and was a master at what she does. My tan turned out great and made me feel so amazing in family pics! She was
Canât believe I just found this hidden gem not far off of Thompson Street! One of the few coffee shops open at 7 am with a variety of coffee/espresso based drinks, hot cocoa bar, and breakfast tacos. Got a dirty chai and egg/cheese burrito - both
