While the setting exudes a hint of tiki allure, it falls just shy of fully immersing patrons in an authentic tiki experience. The drinks, though generally commendable, flirt with greatness but miss the mark on a couple of occasions. Despite this, a visit to Pacific Cocktail Haven is still well worth it for the discerning cocktail enthusiast. However, for those seeking a truly immersive San Francisco tiki adventure, it might be best to explore other options.
I can't speak for the rest of the year but the Christmas kitch in December had us grinning and snapping photos. The annoying $10 cover charge may be warranted but imo it should have come with a coupon for $10 off our drink. Speaking of drinks, they came in cute thematic mugs and were delicious if small.
Jonathan is the best. He made me the best martini I ever had so far, which is a lot to say. Hands down to Jonathan. Also best presentation of a martini. Good hospitality by the staff. Deftly coming back when I’m in San Francisco. ❤️❤️
the miracle pop up bar was worth it! it’s so heartwarming seeing bars go all out in decorations. from the falling snow to the unique glassware to the revamped menu, would highly recommend a stop at PCH while the holiday bar is there. i still need to stop by during the regular season but looking forward to it! christmas cricket: creamy from the vanilla and cream with a hint of earthiness from the pandan, highly enjoyed this drink.
Their drinks are not too bad but I don’t think PCH should be considered as a top 50 bars in North America. Mixing different public-available alcohol and trying to add multiple ingredients are not real talents. There are many good ones out there, what are the criteria for them to judge?
Went to the Miracle pop up bar and had great drinks! The servers were great and the white elephant mystery shots were a surprise!
Awesome cocktail bar with an extensive menu so there is definitely something for everyone here. The drinks are all categorized by the type of main alcohol on the menu and have little illustrations next to them which I thought was a great touch to help you select your perfect drink. Everything is also inspired by Asian pacific ingredients which make the drinks unique and tasty. This bar is very centrally located in SF near Union Square and has a very clean modern interior with lots of seating areas. Will be back here to try some of the other cocktails for sure!
Went there for the first time past week. Nice bar, but overcrowded and BEWARE of the final bill. Tried to overcharge us which is not nice, especially for a bar. The guy with the mustache brought the bill. It was overcrowded, but that doesn’t justify the staff not being nice. Btw, the cocktails were good.
