Very authentic Afghani restaurant. Excellent if you're looking for a halal option in Oakland. 20 minutes driving from SF downtown. Very warm atmosphere. I loved the traditional seating option where you take off your shoes and sit on a comfy pillow on a special wooden deck. Reminded me of home. I like Afghan cuisine and had been to many authentic Afghani restaurant, and I can say that the food is very good. The only thing shy of 5 starts was the mango lace. I had better. Otherwise, the combo chicken and Lamb Tikka was excellent 👌

Food was absolutely AMAZING here! Everything was cooked to perfection. The flavors & spices that were used in every dish were impeccable. The service was also 10/10, our servers were so welcoming, kind and friendly.

What a delight to have found this place. Amazing people, so kind and cheerful. They were accommodating and made us feel very welcome. We ordered bolani and chicken kababs ( my husband asked for chicken thigh instead of the chicken breast)and they substituted. Everything is made fresh and tastes amazing. Food was perfect, these guys are open late, I am coming again and bringing more people with me.

Wandered here on a weekday lunch and felt transported to a different world. Beautiful decor, warm inviting atmosphere and the most gracious owners. We saw our Potato Bolani baked fresh and were floored by how big the final product turned out. Everything was A+++ for taste.

The best Afghan restaurant in Oakland. After ordering the food still you have wait more than 20 minutes to get your food on the table because The restaurant is big but less people working in it. I hope the owner take care of that. Really lovely people, with respect!

Delicious!! The leek bolani was so good, eggplant bon Jon was amazing. I recommend sharing a bunch of items. Definitely will be back!

There are a number of Afghan eateries in Oakland, but Pacha's rise above the rest! The beef shami was so juicy and tender. The Ganadra bolani and the squash bolani were sublime! Definitely try everything with jogurt and/or the mint chutney. Or mix both together! A+ for everything, minus the Oakland parking situation. But I don't hold that against them lol

Went here for lunch. The food was really good. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely go back. The service is a little slow as they had very few ppl working there. It's a decent sized place with lots of seating and a lot of items on the menu. The portion size is good too.
