Was not expecting this park to be here let alone be nice. The space is very wide open with quite a few soccer fields, baseball diamond, tennis courts, a nice gravel walking path and a playground.
Then all the way in the back... There is a preserved homestead (the parks namesake) from the 1870's. Has the house, barn, and a couple of out buildings. Nice surprise and a nice park.
Wish playground was closer to parking lot. But I'm old so...
Beautiful Park had a great time the only thing was the electric Outlets were not working
Nice area where they always have volleyball games, sign says NO pets so you can't walk your dog there
it's a wonderful place for a family reunion, we've been here several times! August 5th it rained all day, but the event still went on and fun was had! thank you very much..
A little secluded as far as directions on getting there but really nice when you do
We love this rustic park. Very spacious, always clean and quiet. Had a Porto potty. And shelter. Also the scenery makes it look very historical. Its one of our families main parks in the area.
Nice park with plenty of baseball diamonds and soccer fields. Theres a playground for kids. Theres a nice walking trail to exercise. Check out the Paarlberg house while you're there.
Great place to have an outside event for the summer. You'll have to bring your own table and chairs.

This is one of the best! The staff is very courteous. Thereâs one closer to me, but I prefer this one because of the service that I receive each time. Great job!
Stopped by for breakfast. Let me tell you, the food was good and the portions are massive. Our server (Artis) was awesome and suggested a few dishes. The wife went with the mexican omlette and pancakes. I had the salmon patties, cheese grits, and blu
I was pleasantly surprised at how good the Turkey tips were. They were tender, juicy and the sauce was great. Even the fries were good. I ordered for co-workers and just ordered some more to take home to my wife.
The customer service here is amazing. The food is fresh and the closest you can get to a real breakfast on the road. It's very clean and the manager is really nice!
