Great place to stay. Very nice and accommodating hosts (John and Maggie)! Bathroom and shower house is the cleanest you will find anywhere!! Grounds are kept clean by everyone. Pool area is very nice. Close to everything as far as businesses. Awesome river view! Only downfall....traffic noise.

This is a basic campground. Other than a swimming pool, there isn’t much else there. They advertise a fishing pond, but the bank is steep and hard to fish from. The part of the campground where we were cable tv was not working. The host was aware of the issue, but no effort made to correct it. WiFi was available, but it was free for only three days and speed limited to 750 kbps. Faster WiFi was available for a price. It is close to Lake of the Ozarks activities. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Nice facilities, clean bathrooms, and a nice small pool with seating. Had an issue with our reservation due to no fault of the campground (miscommunication in our group) however they were extremely kind, professional, and helpful in getting it resolved and ensuring our reservation was booked. Most spots are primarily gravel and fire pits are located very close to the adjacent sites hookups. Be prepared if you have a dog as there isn't much grass in the spots themselves, however there are a lot of great places for a walk. The spots by the river appeared to have more "lawn" space. A little disappointed at the response to an earlier commenter regarding the traffic noise, especially since the employees were incredibly kind and helpful while we were there. The park does sit below the interstate, however you can clearly see billboards at night and hear cars both day and night. It is not so loud as to be distracting and barely noticeable unless you are outside and paying attention. I don't see the point of denying that it is audible, its not a big deal. Anyone booking a spot in any park near a major road should expect to hear at least some background noise. Nice creek and pond, great area to take a walk by the river too. Good location for nearby attractions. All in all a good place for a short stay.

We tent camped and realized when we arrived that we had forgotten a few items. The management (John) was extremely helpful in providing us with what we needed and even went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The bathrooms were clean and showers worked well. Close proximity to all the activities of the Ozarks without being in the middle of it.

We tried to cancel our reservations 3 1/2 months ahead and they wouldn't refund our money. When we made the reservations we wrote everything down and was told to get money back the cancelation had to be done before 14 days of arrival. We have camped in many places and never done this way. We will never use their resort. Plus any of our friends will either. They have lost more than they have gained.

My husband and I come here as much as we can. This is a great place to camp. The people who run Riverview are very nice people and easy to get along with. Easy access to the Osage River for boats or to fish.

Nice RV campground overall. Quiet guests, nice size spaces, clean pool. The only noise is from the highway above the campground. The location on the river is peaceful. Would definitely stay here again. Also appreciated the location close to multiple cities and the main highway.

No TENT spots, what I find a shame, but respectfully understand if this is what the owners want. No idea how good or bad this place is for RV. 1Star rating for not having tents spots as feel discriminated against not having RV to overnight at this place. P.s. Answering here to the owner comment, as there is no other way I can find: Yes, Sir. Arrived at your place around 7PM. No visible signs for tents, only RV's I could see posted on the window of the locked office. Besides, I find it awkward that there were no receipts to fill out the amount and the location/spot taken and drop cash in the box for after hours arrived travelers. I read the name: says RV resort, I don't see any signs for tents, I don't see any opened tents around, I don't see what to fill out to stay at this place, It's getting dark... , what would you do? - definitely not staying any longer. Now, I understand that you have spots for tents and if I arrived before you closed it at least called ahead, things would have been different. It's all me here, nothing wrong with your business. I travel from Alaska to the south and camping has been for the most part quite straightforward.
