Had a camping trip plan that resulted in a total disaster so we stayed here instead. Great rooms, everything was clean. Great service. The staff were very accommodating to my needs and it was all for a very fair price. If I come back to this town, I’m staying here again for sure.
This place was clean, smelled fresh as soon as we walked in. The bathroom was a little small, but it is an older building. The front desk clerks were nice. It wasn't to far from Byrd's Adventure Center which is where we were going. The Pig Trail was an amazing drive.
I booked two rooms for my family to stay in the night before the total eclipse, before driving to our viewing location. Upon our arrival, the staff were friendly, the rooms were clean, welcome bags with information about the area were placed on the table, and a basket of snacks and drinks was left for our enjoyment. The staff were welcoming to our small dog as well. We enjoyed dinner at the Italian restaurant next door. Overnight, all was quiet and we had no trouble sleeping. The beds were really comfortable. The location was great, with a couple of places to eat and a convenience store within walking distance. Overall, this was a great stop on our trip!
Booked 2 rooms while we were in town visiting family over 4th of July weekend. Walking in the rooms, they are clean and everything worked. AC was very noisy but worked well. Disappointed with the service. While staying 5 days in this hotel we never received clean towels, restocked TP or cleaned rooms. The beds are clean but VERY uncomfortable. Might not be a issue if you sleep on a hard bed. They also seem to have some long term stays at this place. Every night was a group of older kids and adults playing in the parking lot. Not a big deal but was frustrating when trying to get a good night sleep and people are in the parking lot well after 1am.
this place is absolutely disgusting. just stayed here this past weekend with my boyfriend and his grandparents only to be entirely grossed out and disappointed. when it was brought to the attention of the management how unclean our room was, including showing them the photos i am posting with this review. they were incredibly rude towards us and we’re unapologetic. it was so dirty that i had offered to clean the room for them if they could lend me their cleaning supplies! the fridge, the bedding, the shower, and the floors were very obviously not cleaned. dead bugs and hair everywhere from previous tenants, mold behind the bed and in the cracks on the walls and shower, stains on the pillowcases and wrinkled sheets like they had been slept in… it smelled like they had just sprayed cleaning solution around the room and called it “clean.” the floors left our feet black on the bottom from how dirty they were. despite the potential convenience of staying at this establishment, i would highly recommend going anywhere else. truly disgusted. and before the owner replies telling me they have no record of me staying and that i may have the “wrong location”, the room wasn’t in my name. beware of false reviews.
Positive: Very nice hotel at a great price, with great staff. Negative: Flies. During the early afternoon I had a little time and I wanted to rest but the flies wouldn?t stop. I had to go to Walmart and buy a flyswatter and I killed flies for 2-3 hours.
This is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. The rooms were very obviously not cleaned and the management was extremely rude and standoffish when this point was brought to their attention. There were dead bugs all over the room, hair and dirt in the shower from previous tenants, stains on the pillows and curtains, and the room smelled gross. Beware of reviews left by what appears to be family and friends as an attempt to bring more customers.
Positive: Cheap rates and close to where I was visiting. Friendly staff. Negative: Cleanliness. Pillowcases already had hair on it before sleeping on it. I had rented the king suite room, and the room itself was entirely small. There was no second lock, (I.e. door stopper or chain). Negative: ""

The food is good and the best value I've found here so far. I had one of the dinner plates and was pleasantly surprised by the portion and the quality I ordered the chicken fried steak, it came with mashed potatoes and country gravey, green beans and
The manager here Christopher is the most amazing guy ! Very friendly and helpful with any problems big or small. He must be the reason they are so busy. I loved his service and the employees were excellent and friendly .
Pretty good. Usual Walmart but it's a little small. Small town problems so I don't hold it against them. No big deal bit they had lots of things to buy.
