Ozark Farms Family Campground & RV Park - Featured Reviews (256)
The campground was nice & clean. Not so quiet being close to the highway & being woke up at 4:30 AM by a rooster roaming the campground both mornings. The goats were cute but wouldn't leave our stuff alone. We never saw anyone checking the campgrounds to see that the rules were being enforced. We found our campsites but couldn't figure out where to park our vehicles & when asked we were just sent a map of the park & the rules so we just parked where we saw fit. We enjoyed the pool & the nice clean restrooms. There was nothing to dry your hands on in the bathrooms except for 1 of them had a hand dryer. Mirrors in the bathrooms would also be helpful.
Stayed 3 nights and never seen a host or welcomed. Sign states, fresh produce, ice cream etc but never seen any of that. The pool was extremely nice except that all 6 garbage dumpsters were overflowing with trash and could smell entire time we were at the pool. The showers were amazing, very clean and big and yes hot water. The laundry area was great as well. Very clean and big. I did think $3 to wash and dry was a bit high but they did a great job and completed dried clothes so that was nice. The goats and chickens were a great and fun plus especially for the kids. Playground is small. Noticed that most people came stayed for 1 night then left. I guess after reading their website and others reviews I was expecting more. It was a very peaceful place except getting woke up about 7:30am with the ground maintenance mowing right outside camper. The price is definitely you get what you pay for. So overall some good and bad. The pool was best part as it was gorgeous. We also had no fire ring on our spot so we didn't get to enjoy a fire any night. Again, never seen anyone so no clue until we drove around a couple of times and asked another camper were we should be as the pole with number was laying on the ground and we weren't able to see it till I got out and walked. I doubt we will be back.
We spent 13 weeks here. Nice place. Stocked fishing pond. Quiet. Goats that roam around as well as chickens. We were there during the strawberry festival which was fun as well. The night before we left they opened a new inground pool. Great place!!
Disappointed we were new to this place we finally figured out we had to self check in. We tried calling the number as they said they would deliver fire wood. No one ever answered the phone, we left to go get fire wood come back and the goats or chickens had eaten parts of our brand new tent. We tried to contact someone and sent email and no response. The bathrooms were filled with trash piling over on the floor. I assume there was no grounds keeper or they just didn't want to be found. Our site was literally right by the goat/chicken coop and of course the roosters were extremely loud. We wouldn't of been able to go anywhere and leave the tent up if we wanted to stay again cuz the animals would eat it. The goats jumped inside my car while we was trying to unload. Don't recommend.
We've lived here 10 months. Sites are a bit rough as concrete old but they are level. Very quiet as we are over the hill from highway. Market and Cafe are now closed which is too bad as the food was great and it was handy for ice, etc. The laundry is also closed which really REALLY is unhandy especially for residents. After spending 2+ years living north of Houston, this place is great! Lots of birds and even had a pileated woodpecker at our feeders this past winter!!
Terrible management at this establishment. No main office to check in at, takes 6-7 unanswered phone calls for anybody to answer the number that is listed on site to call for questions/concerns. We had people in the spot ( Due to the people NEXT to them using 3 spots worth of electric/water hookup for 5 tents) we had reserved for over a month. We were told to just pick a different spot other than the one we had reserved again, over a month prior. Waited for somebody to supposedly come “check it out” and that never happened. Was supposed to end a girls day camping and enjoying ourselves but had to cut it short because of a sadly managed place. Please save your money and time and literally go anywhere else!
We have came here for the last couple of years and never had any problems, and after this year we will NOT be returning. when we arrived right after check-in, the store was closed.. no one answered the phones. We weren't sure if we had the right sight because there was trash everywhere, and random things on our picnic table. After getting our things unpacked and set up, we went for a swim. It was an hour past open time for the pool, and the vacuum was still in there, not on. We removed it very carefully and sat it on the side til someone came to put it away. A lady came over in a blue truck and immediately got an attitude, telling us not to remove it from the pool, because “it’s there for a reason” mind you, it was in there all night, AND the pool had been open for a minute at this point. We apologized, and she said “if you don’t like it you can get out” threw the vacuum back in. And left. The disrespect was insane, especially when working with a guest. If she was polite, we would have understood. We decided to get out bc we didn’t feel it was safe to swim with it. Asa we left, she went and removed the vacuum. Then she let the goats out, we were right next to the pin, so they came over to us. Wasn’t a problem at first, until they started eating everything, our luggage, our boxes, even our tents!!!! And they were left out ALLL day. It started storming around 8 and they were just roaming everywhere, no one even went to check on them and make sure they were safe. so over all, this was a TERRIBLE experience for my family and I. Our campsite was so trashed, we had goats eating our things, the disrespect from the manager/owner? I honestly wouldn’t know because the entire time we were there not a single person answered the phone, and no one even checked to make sure we were there and in the right spot. I would not recommend!!
My boyfriend and I paid for 3 nights. When we got there there was no fire pit as the website shows. Other campers said you have to go get your fire ring and carry it to your campsite during their store’s business hours. One of the pictures posted is of the fire pit area. Of course they were closed. There was also broken glass everywhere. We were also just feet from a major highway. The website doesn’t show this! No one was answering the phone, no surprise since we had tried calling several times that day, someone setting up for a vendor event gave us a different number to call. We were told we would be refunded given the circumstances. That never happened. THEY LIED!! Don’t book with them!!! Go to Meramac Springs State Park or to Lane Springs State Park instead.
This rather new RV park was conveniently located near the interstate and offered spacious pull through and back in sites. We stopped for one night on our way to Texas. It was cold night down into the high 20âs and we needed a FHU site to keep our
This place continues to get better with time. Was here years ago I'm thinking 2014 maybe 2018 and it continues to improve and stay with the times. It has big beds and is for men and women. Bailey assisted me today and was able to find my information
This is literally my favortie place to go during the summer. I come here at least 3 times a week with my friends or family. Definitely recommend! There are many flavors, I have never gotten one that I didn't like. The prices are reasonable and worth
Absolutely adorable (and DELICIOUS) authentic ice cream and soda shop in downtown Rolla! They have delicious (rotating) flavors, incredible sundaes, and traditional floats, phosphates, and sodas. My younger kids love the candy shop section including
I moved to Missouri 5 1/2 years ago. There is so much to see and experience. The history here is amazing. I live next to the Mark Twain National Forrest. I love the fact that there are so many cave systems here. The waterways are amazing. Ge
Bray is a great little area to get out and enjoy nature. It's only a few minutes out of Rolla. It has a bedrock bottom creek that is fun to walk through during the hot summer days. One will find a icy cold spring flowing into the creek and an old tun
