Secluded off the main strip, older with little upkeep, RV park behind and couple run down buildings scattered throughout the property. Employees are rude and unprofessional. I definitely don't suggest staying here. Don't Enjoy!!!

We have 32 ft 5th wheel and stayed there three nights because closest park to my son's home. Price was reasonable, gave military rate. We were on site 14 which is pull through and on end with nice yard. All utilities - 50 amp, water and sewer. Pad is asphalt. Park is old and most guests are long term workers. Didn't see pool. Didn't use bathhouse or laundry so can't comment on them. Only negatives as others mentioned, you can see the railroad tracks just across highway and trains come through every couple of hours blowing their horns multiple times day and night. Also if you don't like hearing cattle, the stockyards are just up the hill and sounds are constant. I was raised on farm so that didn't bother me. Overall not the nicest park we've ever stayed at and the view was not obviously of the ocean or lake, but for our purposes it was fine.

We had scheduled at another RV park but when we arrived after dark it was not able to accommodate us. We called Valley Inn after 9pm and they were very helpful. When we arrived, there was someone at the front desk and made sure we happy with the lot . I explained we were here on business and would be here for 6 months. Plus others would be arriving. The price was very affordable. They have showers and laundry room. Also an on-site full bar with pool tables. If you need packages mailed to you they let you know through text it has arrived. As for pets, they have plenty of grassy areas.

The best thing about the park was it was not on the main highway but it must have been rather close to the RR as we heard trains about every hour or two. As we have been seeing many RV Parks are either full time places for those living permanently in campers. This park was fairly clean, the spots had grave pads, dirt roads and what sounded like a cattle auction going on behind. You are close to restaurants and convenient shopping. It was fine for one night.

First impression was not a great one but once we were in the office and met Scott and saw our room, it was much better. The room met all our needs for a good price. We are here for a week. We have a fridge and microwave and coffee pot. The first night we noticed a bit of an unpleasant odor in the bathroom. Scott brought it to the owner's attention and the owner fixed the problem the next day. Scott is very helpful and knowledgeable about McAlester and surrounding area. He is a real asset. Worth his wait in gold. This motel is definitely not the Holiday Inn Express but if you want good quality for a good price, it can't be beat.

Flimsy adjoining doors heard the neighbors all night (talking, coughing, passing gas heard everything) plus lots of roaches to the point they was crawling on us in the bed at night. Squished bugs all over the walls and no usable power outlets for charging or for medical equipment. The girl at the desk was very nice when we checked in tho.

Stayed in the RV park 3 mths for work. Lots are decent size, lots of trees. I was in 3 different spots. Some sites not very level. Disappointed with the bar, couldn't stay in there as it was way to smokey. Campground has a few residents & is used a lot for people doing traveling work. Must love trains, planes & cows. I got used to it. Owner is very nice. I couldn't connect to the WiFi or use my TV which sucked for 3 mths.

After reading all the positive reviews about this place I booked for $79. Silly me! Holiday Inn for $120, shut up and take my money.||||Seriously, Valley Motel rooms are worth 50 bucks on a good day. They're old and in dire need of updating. ||||The negatives first; ||the AC was off and the room was hot, ||the toilet seat was one of those comically small seats that big people hate, ||the water pressure could have been better, ||there was a wet patch on the carpet in front of the sink (ugh think wet socks), ||the table wobbled, TV channels were limited, there was no hardwired internet outlet (wifi only). ||||After being pestered by a local bloke for a lift to his not-so-nearby trailer (yes, I gave him the thankless ride) I wondered if my car might get broken into that night (it wasn't). ||||This place is kinda isolated for a motel, no doubt because it's also an RV park. But it's only a few miles and 5 zigzagging turns to local food and entertainment options.||||The positives: The room/bathroom/bedding were clean, the AC was cold, the TV worked, the internet was fast, and the lady at the front desk was very nice and friendly. ||||As a road warrior I have a good idea of what a hotel is worth these days. And this definitely wasn't worth the seventy nine bucks I paid. ||||Actually, in hindsight, I had booked a double queen room for that price, only to be downgraded at check-in to a single queen (and not offered a discount for the downgrade). I think $50 plus tax would have been fair. I regret paying attention to the reviews, which seem suspiciously squewed higher than this place deserves. Maybe the bartender is great at his job and gets people to complete their hotel review after half a dozen beers and shots.||||I'd really only return to this motel if I had no other local options under a hundred bucks. ||||And even then I'd pay no more than 50 bucks (with a grimace on my face).

The architectural jewel of southeast Oklahoma! To visit this building is to step back in time. The Masons are quite proud of the structure and are usually eager to show it off. Simply call the office.
