OYO Hotel Valdosta GA I-75 - Hotel in Valdosta - 1114 St Augustine Rd, USA

Perfect location. First I do admit I overslept a half hour. But the way the front desk handled this mistake was uncalled for. To be getting dressed with the male manager standing in the door hollering get out get out. I wasn't causing any trouble and I did damage any property. I even stayed in this room after noticing the room wasn't fully cleaned. Towels were dirty. What looked like throw up on the wall. I still stayed cause we were tired and needed to stay somewhere close in town.

The check in experience was... odd. Room was just sort of okay, but not worth $88. Bugs on the ceiling crawling around. TV did not work. You could hear everything from inside the room that was going on in the parking lot. Cigarette burns all over the room. We stayed, we left, we won't be back.

Our room only had 1 towel so I went to the front desk and requested more. The guy at the front asked why I needed more towels then proceeded to have his wife lady check our room to see if we were sneaking towels. Long story short, I got what I wanted.

The guy at the front desk was... rude to say the least, on the morning of checkout, an hour before we were even supposed to checkout the house keepers came pounding on the door... asking us when we were gonna leave... made me feel like they were trying to basically push us out the door... now I'm not an expert in these things but isn't the whole point of a hotel to make you feel at home? That being said... The room was great.... Clean, they had everything we needed, and the bed was comfortable. The location was perfect, close to quite a few restaurants, the mall was basically across the street, only a few miles from Wild Adventures, the Walmart was close by. As far as location they couldn't have picked a more perfect spot. Definitely need to work on their customer service though.

Zero stars wouldn’t recommend!! Booked a room for two people requesting double beds but they gave us one bed saying only two people but not all two people who need a hotel sleep in the same bed together!!! Guy at the front desk was rude. I also asked for a blanket they said they couldn’t give me one bc laundry was closed but I see a stack of bedding in plastic behind the window. They also didn’t have a phone in the room to call front desk. And to top it off there was a carcass of a dead roach in the bathroom at least it was dead so I guess they exterminate frequently but still. Bed was hard as a rock and only had a paper thin blanket with a sheet. Oh and they charged a $80 deposit for not to smoke in the room but it was a smoking room with an ashtray!!!??? Another oh yeah, they also have a dog which barks aggressively at you when you have to go to the office. These people are not professional they will also walk in on your an hour before check out to get you to leave. Rude AF!!! I will never stay here again!!! Don’t waste your money.

The guy at the front was EXTREMELY RUDE if I could give a -0 stars I would his attitude is the worst for no absolute reason. Don’t know if he lives there or not but his rude (blank) was always there. The room was gross sheets had someone else’s hair on them when I pulled them back found a condom wrapper in the bathroom area. Worst stay I’ve ever experienced in Valdosta most definitely wouldn’t recommend if you need it for more then a few hours.

$106 for a two queen on a Saturday shows how far down our country has come. It was a Motel, at the best. Price should be in the $60-70 range but it was sold out and that's when you usually get ripped. But to be fair it was clean and that's all what matters when you lay down to sleep. Obviously no breakfast, not much service, simply sleep and go. Also we were able to bring our dogs which was another $30, so $136 a night for a Motel.

The guy at the front desk is extremely RUDE! the room was wet. Floor was wet, the beds were damp. He stated it was bug spray. I did not stay he said ok no refund. Save yourself and don't stay here.
