OYO Hotel Savannah GA Hwy 17 - Featured Reviews (122)
I stayed at this motel for two weeks. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was absolutely amazing. There is nothing bad I can say about my stay here. |Location is 15 mins to the city, 25 mins to Tybee Island, an hour to Hilton Head SC and within 2 miles distance is food, gas, convenience stores. |When traveling on a budget, the Innon17 is a great choice. |I will assuredly stay here again the next time I'm partying in Savannah.
Please spend the extra money and go someplace else. We stayed for 5 nights while checking in we were told our keys were under the doormat. No keys there. Go back again get two keys neither work. Go back again and she has to show us exactly how the keys need to be placed because their system is so finicky. Not a single thing in the room really looked like it had even been wiped down. But yeh know whatever place is cheap 🤷🏼♀️ my biggest issue Night one we get back to the hotel neither of the keys are working door is flashing red. No one on site. We call the motel number and are told to be let back in the room we have to pay a $25 lockout fee because it’s our fault the keys don’t work… lol you’re funny. I’m not paying to be let into a room that I payed for because your key system is trash. Housekeeping didn’t stop by a single time in 5 days with new towels or toilet paper or to take the trash out. Oh and we slept really good seeing all the roaches pooping everywhere.
This place could be nice if the people that run it, actually take care of it and gave a crap about it. Staff was rude, room was “cleaned” but as you will see from pictures it wasn’t. I didn’t even get the room I actually booked and paid for. I do not recommend staying here. Pay a lil more and go closer downtown.
Was left keys to check in to my room that did not work. Other people staying there said this happens often and the keys don’t always work. There was no one onsite to assist since the office closes at 8 pm. After calling the manager for help, she angrily insisted that the keys worked and it was our fault. She said we would have to pay $40 for someone to come out and open the door for a “lock-out” fee even though the initial keys provided didn’t work. The customer service here was terrible and they were extremely rude. We were not able to check into our room that night and had to find last minute accommodations. I have tried working to get a refund through my booking agency and the manager is refusing.
All the problems I had was with Hotels.com. But let me tell you first about the hotel. The only issue I had was the internet was not working. The room looked a bit funky because it had a bright orange blanket and everything in the bathroom was in a basket because there was nothing to hang towels or toilet tissue on. Looks like it is in the process of being renovated. Staff was excellent. But these are the negatives you should know. There is a 50.00 deposit that does not show up on the hotels website. If you get locked out after 9 pm, there is a 20.00 charge to get in the room. If you don't like trains, this might not be the place for you. The train blew its horn several times. I am still waiting for a refund for the deposit, but it sometimes takes a while for that. Hotels.com has really lost it in terms of customer service. They used to be so good but now when I tried to change the date of check in by one day, they wanted to charge me for another night. I went to the hotel and told them what I needed and they changed it without an issue.
The rooms were clean and smelled.clean.the place is in a crime area got a room for Two nights only stayed for one the rooms were just OK no where to put anything in the bathroom only one tiny little wastebasket. The key was put under a mat outside in front of the door when we got there and thats a big red flag there is no one there at night in case you need anything.there were ppl walking around I immediately didn't feel comfortable when we arrived I would not recommend this place to any family or law abiding citizens however if you deal drugs and are trying to hide from the law this place would probably do well for you do not recommend this place at all
We stayed here for just a few hours before getting on Amtrak. Don't let looks deceive you. The rooms were newly renovated, clean, and quiet. The people at the front desk were very friendly. We had a great little stay at a great rate for Savannah. Definitely recommend.
Shocked when we saw motel….pics are not accurate….God forbid if you didn’t read your emails from the hotel. You will be treated rudely. The pictures provided on website of front office are not accurate , entire place needs new roofing, no lamps in our room, musty smell in room.
What a gem. This is a total find. The apartment is very large and has everything you need for a comfortable visit. We were two friends, so I used the sofa bed as an extra room. It worked very well - itâs big and comfortable and, if you ask, theyâ
Was traveling through and had the privilege of working out with a fun and talented group. The online sign up was super easy, was able to sign my waiver and reserve a class in a jiff. The gym was conveniently located and a quick walk from my hotel. T
