OYO Hotel Olympia - Tumwater - Featured Reviews (483)
DO NOT STAY HERE!!! -5 stars! My husband spent one night here and woke up at 5am to roaches crawling on the floor, TV stand and around the room.Thankfully he only booked one night and was able to check out and find a much better hotel. Be warned, this hotel does not care about cleanliness or pest control.
I called OYO for a room, booked through their central number and prepaid $68 as required prior to arrival. When we arrived we were informed that there were no rooms available. The clerk stated he had no ability to issue a refund and refused to help find a room (even within their own company). I called the main customer service number and asked for a full refund. I was given $3 back, being charged a $65 cancellation fee. This happened to the two families arriving just after me as well. This company is a scam.
Positive: Nothing Negative: It was closed! After a 10 hour drive we showed up to a closed hotel. Security guard said its been closed 4 1/2 months! Negative: ""
Positive: The manager was good about replacing the tv when the original one stopped working. The night security guard is good. The lamps all worked. It was quiet at night. There is a microwave & fridge. Negative: There is no breakfast, even though one was claimed. There are squatters living in the hotel. The screen in the window was ripped. The room smelled like smoke. The floor was not vacuumed. The towels are thin. The mattress was old and worn.
I wasn’t able to stay as hotel had sold previous day. My confirmation number meant nothing to them. The front desk person could not have been ruder! I had to find accommodations on my own paying full price to sleep in an awful hotel room. The good thing i can say about Days Inn in Aurora was I made myself a damn good waffle and the coffee wasn’t bad.
Hotels/motels need to find people who want a job. The homeless man I encountered in the parking had more enthusiasm about seeing me!
Payed $100 to stay here for the night, upon arrival I found that the entrances were closed off so I got out of my car and went to the front to be informed by whoever it was there, that the hotel has been closed for 3 months!!!!! They then told me o couldn’t be refunded because it was “past cancellation”! WTH!!?? Because of the neglect to not allow booking and the neglect of customer service, I had to sleep in my car on the side of the road because I then didn’t have the money for another hotel. So disappointed.
Charged us $200 for some "Stained" towels and bed sheets. We didn't even have anything on the bed to stain it and the towels that we used were not stained. I even brought 2 of my own towels from home to use. There were 6 key cards made for our room and we only had 2 of them made. People come in and out of the hotel doing drug deals nightly. And the guy that works the desk at night was almost never behind the desk. Mostly saw him outside or nowhere to be found.
i picked this place because it is close to my job. so many issues: 100$ hold on incidentals on top of my full payment but was not told until check-in, my "suite" smelled like an ashtray, the room and everything in it was beyond outdated, the pictures online are not the actual building, the pictures of the rooms are not the actual rooms, no hot-tub as advertised, no customer service or hospitality skills from anyone, the window of my first floor room was hanging partly off track, after i had checked out and was driving home they called me and asked if i would book another stay with them right then on the phone. i had to laugh.
this is a just a taste of my stay. if it wasn't paid for by work, i would have asked for a refund and left to sleep elsewhere. i will be back to Olympia and stay in hotels, in fact i am in a different (nice) hotel in Olympia right now, but you could not pay me to stay in this "hotel" ever again.
It was a great stay. This hotel was spotless. The breakfast was expansive, and free to guests; the breakfast room was spotless. Good coffee in room and lobby. The beds were Beauty Rest pillow top (we asked), and I slept. This place is super quiet, ye
My friend and I went and got the November coffee flight. Each drink was delicious. This is a nice little coffee shop, love the original idea of the coffee flights, and love that they change them every month. Will definitely have to go again and see w
The best meal we have ever had. From the appetizer to the dessert it just got better and better. Crab cakes, salmon, lamb chops, peanut butter torte and blueberry lemon creme brulee.
One of the best US Food's that I have visited. I am fortunate to have this as my local shop. Well organised, well stocked with amazing customer service. Employees are attentive and always eager to help. Great sales and promotions.
