Owensboro Museum of Science and History - Children's museum in Owensboro - 122 E 2nd St, USA

Really, really special little museum! My grandson just didn't want to leave. From the interactive train set (behind plexi) to the inventions to the artifacts of Kentucky past... It was all Amazing! Unique as the gift section! I purchased a bag of rocks, a jar of pickled beets and a T-shirt! Fun... Fun.. we'll be back. 🥰👍

An Interesting Place with a lot for kids to do. They seemed to be updating the second floor while we were there (may 2023). Which certainly needed done... Also, I agree they could clean this place a little better, but it probably is no dirtier than your average city park... Good, cheap fun... Give the kids a bath afterwards!

The only reason I didn't give the museum a 5 star rating was there are currently a few areas closed for renovations or maybe for changes in the exhibits. We will definitely go back!

Wonderful place with so much for children to do and explore. For only $5, this is well worth the stop.

This museum has tons of potential. They are working on updating it, but there is still alot that needs to be done. My kids really liked the cave and the cave fish and the upstairs play area. The upstairs play area really needs some updates, but it still kept them occupied. Its good for a rainy/cold day out of the house.

Drove from Evansville and arrived at 1:52 on a Sunday. Was told they were closed for a private party. I would suggest calling to verify they’re actually open and waiting to hype your toddler up just in case.

Great place to spend a day! Invest locally, they are really trying to bring back life to the old exhibits and new exhibits alike. Great learning and fun!

Great kids play area on the second floor. In my opinion it's ideal for kiddos under 5 years old. It has a changing station and only one open entry/exit point. The rest of the museum is probably 3 stars, but they have a few things in the works that sound promising.
