One of my favorite public parks around the area I currently reside at. It’s great in size with many different activities you can do from walking, reading a book, kayaking, picnics, or just a lay low time with friends and family or even just yourself. There are many functions that happen at the park through out the year. Just an fyi you do not need a permit in order to kayak if you have one. There’s specific areas you can go to within the park to enjoy beautiful views. My favorite one is on the little bridge by the entrance after the first roundabout. The bride has two benches for you to relax on. The bathrooms are so clean compared to other park restrooms. The park is so clean. The security guard there is very friendly and is willing to answer all your questions.
Huge spacious park, plenty of parking available. They're a ton of areas for picnicking and lounging. There's an area for fishing; There is an area for canoeing. They're soccer fields, playgrounds. Everything you could ask for in the park. Restrooms are available. Super long walking trail where you can walk around the entire park. And you can even have a great view of the Lake.
Overpeck County Park is a great place, whether lonely or with loved ones. It's an incredible place to go sightseeing or socialize. It has bird-watch outings, fishing and kayaking, seeing horses and or equestrians, or getting pertained to some recreational activities such as soccer and tennis, golfing, baseballs, volleying, cricketing, enthralling in kiting or going on a hike, flying RC planes or flying drones in nonrestricted areas if you're an enthusiast and enjoy the view! It has a massive playground for all sports and is dog-friendly. It has restrooms and large picnic areas for extracurricular activities, as well as festivities. And it has a Jurassic Park out-of-plain sight until you search for all the thoracic creatures you've read about and know.
An awesome playground available for young ones, nice turf field available for teens. The restroom and comfort station are clean. EV charging available for electric cars.
It's a well kept area, I wish it had better lighting at night as you exit the parking lot. The facilities were still open until late, they seemed well kept. There's a playground, soccer field and tennis courts available. Parents have to sit outside of the fence and are unable to watch from inside. There was a small bench area considering the large size soccer field.
This is my go-2-park for my running sessions. One loop is around 4+ miles which is perfect. I commend Overpeck County Park any time of the season. 👌🤙
Nice day trip with my family: wife, 14yo son, 3 yo son, 2yo daughter, and Grandma. Everyone enjoyed it. A couple of the activities listed--that we really wanted to see--weren't available on the day we went

Dining out can be stressful as a parent, but my troubles melted away as soon as we walked in thanks to the extremely kind and warm staff! Everyone was so sweet to my daughter and they had kid friendly plates, utensils, toys, crayons and paper rolled
I met with Rachel one month before our wedding. She and her staff were incredibly helpful; they were willing to amend the buffet menu (there are set items that come at the $50/person, $70/person, and $100/person levels) to better suit our guests. She
My husband and I have been meaning to check this place out for some time now and finally decided to dine here for dinner. When you enter, it seems like any other ordinary Japanese restaurant and gives a comforting atmosphere. Once we were seated, our
A nice family attraction for anyone who loves dinosaurs. The free parking was easy and the admission prices were reasonable for a family of four. There are fee activities that are included in their Commanders Pass but we werenât sure if our kids w
