Amazing piece of history behind this gem. Miles of beautiful trails from easy to challenging, but always worth the view around every corner. Dog walkers paradise....
Love going to Thompson Dam. It's a very popular place. Many different things to do: boating, fishing, disc golf, camping, walking, biking, even shelters to reserve for birthdays, family reunions, etc.
Ample picnic shelter with expansive views to West Thompson Lake.
Beautiful Dam and well maintained trails.
There are lots of things to do here like boating, walking, biking, picnics.
Trails lead you deep into the forest to open areas as well as near a pavilions to get away and enjoy the sun and serenity.
Flooded out so you can not go from one end to the other, but still a great place to walk
The Army Corps does an incredible job of maintaining this park. I'm there with my dog every weekend. Miles of trails and easy access to the water.

The bathroom was kept clean and the showe
