Atmosphere/decor is amazing, the music was lovely, and the food was yummy. Our server was only server on the floor so she was swamped but despite being busy she did a great job. We enjoyed ourselves. Love all the cool names for menu items.

Incredibly cool spot. I lunched there after tennis right before Halloween and they had the place really done up fun! Our server (maybe Miranda?) was outstanding. So were the bloody marys. We opted for the funnel fries which are definitely unique and delicious but for sure more a dessert. We split the traditional burger and loved it. I highly recommend Over The Top!

I’ve given this restaurant a try 3 times. Each time it got worse & worse. My first experience was great so I wanted to go again right after. My second experience was not so great. I tried an alcoholic drink & when it was brought out to me, the server spilled the drink on me. We cleaned it up and continued with our time there. I ordered the same exact thing from before which was the Joliet fries and a burger. I noticed the taste of the fries was completely different upon my first bite. I brought it to the servers attention and he mentioned my server from my first experience probably gave me the wrong fry by mistake. The burgers are flavorless, it’s all cheese. Nevertheless I give this restaurant a 3rd try, why would I do that? We went on karaoke night so I’m enjoying the music and the drinks but I noticed we haven’t been able to place our order yet. Finally someone comes to take our order & again we sat for 1 hour and a half before some one asks “has your orders been taken” I said yes, awhile ago actually. We were waiting for an order we placed with our server but was never given to the kitchen which meant we had to wait even more time for our orders to be cooked. The server apologized & offered to give us 30% off the bill. I will not be back, I’ve given this restaurant 3 tries. In my photos are the Joliet fries and the Georgia style fries

Over the Top Burger Bar has their annual holiday pop up with a full Whoville theme and trust me it’s a must visit! I had the pleasure of attending their media preview and everything was so good. From the theme cocktails, to the milkshakes and over the top hot dog and burgers. They have some visits with Santa on a few Sundays as well so check that out below.

From the moment I walked in the energy and the excitement was there! The detail of the decorations the restaurant had up for their Treats Halloween pop-up bar we're really awesom! 🎃 Service was outstanding 👏🏼 Morgan was our server, but the whole crew that was there checked on us. Very awesome staff. 🎃I ordered "What's Beef?" Burger double. My husband ordered "Hot Chic" chicken sandwich. Food came out good, and everything was good. Being from Chicago, I love Italian beef, so trying it on burger was plus! Very good. 🎃Drinks: Blood Orange and Zombie Punch cocktails. They were cute and good. The eyes on the Zombie Punch were bubble gum! Walking Nachos was a 1st and yummy. Interesting, but yummy! It's like a fresh tasting nacho with BBQ pull pork, pimento cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, and seasoned pickled fresh cucumbers. Ordered the Oreo Milk Shake for my sweet tooth craving. Not too sweet nor overwhelming at all. I enjoyed it. I'm a whip cream lover, so it was fun and yummy. Christmas Pop-Up Bar will be coming soon. Oh my gosh, we had the most fun at the Tinsels Christmas Pop Up at Over the Top!! We came for the Jazz brunch on Christmas Eve and it was everything I was hoping for and more. You can’t help but smile surrounded by all the tinsel and trees!! The place was a riot of holiday decorations and SANTA was even in the house! We snapped some pics with him, but honestly, I think everyone at our table had some Santa trauma because it made us a little bit nervous as he wandered around the restaurant… We were a concerned free-range Santa was checking to make sure we were staying on the nice list, lol! They had a great menu of themed cocktails that were served in holiday glasses. Our brunch food was stellar too! Ok, the waffle was AMAZING, with caramelized edges and bacon and a bananas foster sauce. The burgers were SO GOOD- so many fun flavors on one bun make all your taste buds happy! And the strawberry French toast was yummy too. We had so much food I was able to take practically a whole meal home for later. Oh and the milkshakes are to die for and giant works of dessert art! I had wanted to try out Tinsels all month after seeing it on Instagram and finally made it in on Christmas Eve. Seriously y’all, you made my Christmas holiday! Thanks so much for great food and a great time! You’re the best.

For our family dinner my oldest chose Over The Top Burger in Buford. Here is my honest opinion of the restaurant. The burgers were very good. My wife had a hand held sandwich which she didn't like. The played rock music which is fine as I enjoyed hearing Nirvana but the volume was to loud on a Sunday. The staff is young and eager. My issue was with the bill 90.00 for 3 burgers and hand held and drinks and a upcharge for choosing bison as. Protein Ask me if I'm going back the answer is no

Just had an amazing lunch/experience at Over the Top Burger Bar, it is a must try!! The Flaming Hot and Buford Blue Burgers were amazing!!! McKenzie and Miranda are awesome bartenders with wonderful personalities!!!
