Oshkosh Waterfront Hotel & Convention Center - Hotel in Oshkosh - 1 N Main St, USA

We booked months in advance for a wedding party. Many people were stand here because of the pool and amenities that they offer. 3 weeks before our stay they sent us a note saying no pool and no other amenities were open and they would not discount our price and other hotels in the area were full. We found that to be extremely disappointing. The rooms are pretty nice. The beds are like sleeping on plywood and I usually like a firm mattress but they were hard. Overall the service is not that great and their desire to make a good customer experience was super low. Would not recommend staying here

Sorely disappointed with the state of this establishment. Stayed here for a wedding and I would NEVER recommend this to anyone. When walking into the entrance from the garage, we had to call the front lobby to get buzzed in, was told it would take “a couple minutes” to press a button as she was helping clients at the counter. It would’ve been fine had the elevator room not been 98°. Thankfully we were let in by a guest staying at the hotel. When we walked in, two people were at the desk with no clients in sight. Along with the disappointing customer service, DO NOT BE FOOLED BY “FAKE AMENITIES”. Fitness Center was “under renovation”, pool was “no longer in service” and the restaurant that offered free breakfast was “closed”. Overall, had a horrible experience and if it wasn’t so close to our venue, we would have found elsewhere to stay.

We reserved a room for 2 nights in March for a June wedding. 2 weeks prior was sent an email saying no pool no restaurant under renovations. Could not find another hotel for those 2 days. Showed up checked in went to room to find no microwave(which on confirmation letter said in room) to make our food, also no working ice machine unless went down 3 floors . Went down and asked about microwave and was told no rooms have them . I told the gentleman very disappointed and was told we sent email and then rudely said you do not have to stay here but you are here so I guess you want to stay. If could have found room would have left. We did find a room for following night which had a pool ,free breakfast, a ice machine and very friendly accommodating staff. To me not worth money we spent. Not pleased

I’m just so very disappointed in my families stay this time that we did. We had stayed here about a year ago in a wonderful room with a hot tub and my daughter loved swimming in the pool and our experience was awesome. However, fast forward to the last two days. The only reason I had gotten a room here again was so my daughter could enjoy a few days swimming and enjoying the hot tub. Imagine our surprise when we went to go swimming and all the sudden there’s no pool!!! No hot tub!! Not even a microwave in our tiny room we were given this time. The bathroom door wouldn’t shut. There was very loud noise every morning next to our room. No one warned us about any of this when we checked in! We got a letter that said they were renovating and to not mind the dust! So I wasted money on pretty much a horrible time. I emailed the property and still havnt heard back and my husband talked to the front desk yesterday but they didn’t care. So as of right now I highly don’t recommend staying here. Just so upsetting and such a waste. My daughter was devastated and cried for a long time cause there was no pool anymore. Seriously ridiculous.

They are currently renovating, but our room has already been remodeled and was great! Very clean. Great shower. Nice River view. Came for a seminar but would definitely stay again if needed to come to the area.

Every time I come here, I excpext nothing from the service and am constantly disappointed. Both on the hotel and convention center side. Constantly talked down to, blamed for mistakes on for booking, and not given anything in return. Yeah being on the water is nice but if you want to relax and enjoy a waterfront location without dealing with absolute nonsense look elsewhere. At least the rooms are usually clean.

Stayed 2 nights for a wedding and when I returned home called the hotel to see if I had left something behind. Was told to leave a message with housekeeping as they were gone for the night. Still waiting for a phone call

Good river view. Room was newly remodeled, but there was no place to hang clothes. Lots of remodeling being done, so will have to see when it's done. Check in woman was very nice
