This place is not what the eyes see, the food is amazing. The customer service is great, and the sushi is out of this world. Jenny is a treat! she goes out of her way to explain the menu items she never rushes and is very welcoming to everyone I have seen come in while my father in-law and I are there which has become very common over the last 6 months. The sushi chef is a young man seen in the photo and is always smiling and with good reason, his skills and flavor profiles are spectacular. I have not spoken to the chef in the back of the kitchen but have seen him working and have had his food and it has alway been an amazing meal, fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The presentation of every plate I have had is wonderful as seen in the photos. Visit this place and see for yourself what has been hiding in plain site. So I returned a few time sense my last review and have added new photos today, July 22,2023. It every time I go back I’m impressed. This place is simply amazing, the staff the food, the way they make sure you are informed of the dishes and how they are prepared. It is presentation, flavor, you name you get it. I believe that everyone who likes sushi and or Asian food needs to visit this place.

BEST KEPT SECRET TLDR always cooked perfectly, plated beautifully, and cheap too!! I come here every week after class and I am determined to try everything on the menu before my class finishes in a month. Every single thing I've tried here (except the Ramen, I don't recommend the ramen) is amazing. The rolls are beautiful, everything is plated and presented beautifully but even more importantly it all tastes DELICIOUS. My two favorite dishes are the poke bowl and the chicken. No matter what chicken you order it's always going to be cooked perfectly. This place really should be packed every day. I'm from California and the food is just as good at this little Osaka restaurant in Ohio. Definitely still coming here whenever I can after my class is finished. Update: just tried the soft shell crab tempura and the octopus balls. Live the crab would definitely recommend. I liked the flavor of the octopus balls and if you don't mind super soft foods you might like it! Had real octopus in it.

This place was an experience in itself. The food was definitely something we didn’t expect we’d enjoy as much. The menu has so much variety from Japanese ramen, classic Chinese dishes, to some really good fresh sushi. I love how it accommodates to anybody looking for Asian cuisine. The lady who attended us was amazing and welcoming. She was very good at recommending sushi and her hospitality made this a great experience. Give this place a try and we hope your visit is as great as ours. This place knows what they’re doing. You can taste the passion and effort they put into creating a good meal for their customers ❤️

The Fuji Mountain and Dancing Crab roll was delicious. We will definitely be back. Edit: I came back and it was better than the first time! Added more photos.

Sushi was great, potstickers could have been better, paper thin wrappers no crunch, but still good. Eel sushi was amazing. Great staff. 👍 will eat here again.

We’ve been here a few times and the service is consistently great! Great food, great prices, and great variety! We’ve had their sushi multiple times, and we love their ramen. This is our sushi go-to in Dayton!

If you're a sushi lover, then you absolutely must try OSAKA SUSHI & HIBACHI! This restaurant is hands down one of the best places I've ever been to for fresh, delicious sushi. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The decor comfortable, and the staff are friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. But the real star of the show here is the sushi. The rolls are expertly crafted with the freshest ingredients, and every bite is bursting with flavor. The fish is so fresh that it practically melts in your mouth, and the rice is perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend trying the chef's special rolls - they're truly one of a kind and unlike anything I've ever tasted before. And if you're not a sushi fan, don't worry they have plenty of other options on the menu as well. Their hibachi dishes are also amazing and are sure to please even the pickiest of eaters. Overall, I can't recommend this place enough. The quality of the food is top-notch, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. It's a true gem of a restaurant that you simply can't miss!

Highly recommend! I got the spicy crispy tuna and the amazing roll and both were excellent! Especially recommend the spicy crispy tuna which is one of the best things I have EVER eaten. The woman who waited on us was so sweet and really made it a point to say how much she appreciated us eating there. Would go back again and again!
