Osaka Japanese Steakhouse - Japanese restaurant in Texarkana - 5001 W Park Blvd, USA

i’m upset to be making this review but i’m VERY disappointed with the take out service. everyone was sweet, that’s not the problem. the problem is the actual bagging of the food. i ordered a pint of mushroom soup with some sushi. i came and picked up the food and got in the car to eat it, but whenever i went to take the bag with the soup out, the soup completely fell through the bag and spilled on me. keep in mind the soup is scorching hot. there is no way it could have been condensation because it had the other bag the was inside ripping as well. very disappointed.

I dined at the sushi bar at Osaka Japanese Steakhouse, and am glad to say it was excellent. The fresh, high quality nigiri and sushi was complemented by excellent service. I had had the gyoza, which was served piping hot. The atmosphere was nice, and it was relatively quiet.

Was crazy they charge you a 34% for service charge on top and then of your bill for tip ask for a disclose bill and you will see a 16% automatically added to your bill plus the waitress say the 16% is for the cook and what else extra is for me . Is ridiculous, but they don't give you a disclose bill . It's horrible the most dishonest restaurants I ever put a foot on. Plus, I tip the cook at front . $249.19, that $78.32 were on tips on a $185.87 lunch, and this is outrageous.

Good food. But really rude servers. Customer service used to be great. No communication when I come through the door. No refills and long wait time when I need to pay for my ticket. Some servers are nice. If they want a good tip. Love your job or quit. I've been going to this restaurant once a week for sushi. This is why I gave this place a bad rating.

Food was great, cook/server was great and the ppl we were sitting with was friendly we haf a great time, we all laughed and talked

Food was delicious!! Their yum yum sauce is the best around!! Our waitress was very nice & patient, we had a large group & several kids that needed modified meals & she was very attentive to their needs! Our area was very clean as well! All our orders were brought out correct & in a timely manner!

Was so excited to take my son whom had never been. Guess they changed the menu, instead of having shrimp fried rice as an appetizer, they served us rice plain with terriaki sauce. Next was plain spaghetti noodles with the same sauce. We did get a few veggies, but very few. Didn't mind the cook putting butter, terriaki sauce, and rice in my coke as a joke. But would have been nice if the server brought me another one. I didn't have a drink until the end of the meal. The chicken and steak were so overcooked we couldn't eat it. Seafood was great. We did have plenty of leftovers but they ended up in the trash. Use to be my favorite, but won't be going back. Oh, they also add a tip on every person's check. So no need to tip.

The food was good but the service and the atmosphere were ok. We stopped here on our road trip, and it was a good choice! Our food was fresh and delicious! Sushi was great! Also, sashimi were fresh and delicious! Soup was not hot 😐. Overall, it was a good experience!
