Osage Casino Hotel - Skiatook - Featured Reviews (2478)
We were in from out of state and just wanted a clean place to sleep. This was so much more! Staff were so friendly. Room was huge, beautiful and clean! Free breakfast was a nice surprise. Pool looked amazing. We will definitely stay here the next time we’re visiting the area!
The little gem was absolutely perfect! They had just finished some renovations, which included the beautiful pool area. We spent an entire day just lounging by the pool, ordering cocktails and food. Then at night we sat in the huge spa for a bit. The bar inside, Tin Pint, was charming. The bartenders and wait staff were so kind and helpful. The room was very spacious and comfortable. I would absolutely stay there again in the future!
The check in man was awesome, enjoyed his accent. And the gentleman working with him, was very good , everyone else working there , let it be known they were not happy working there, and that we, the players were a bother. Are at the restaurant and my wife and I puked and had the runs all night. Did not enjoy our time here.
Check-In - Good/friendly service (forgot to get her name when checking in/out). We got 1 night free for whatever reason which was awesome. Bryan definitely is a top notch employee who deserves a raise. He was everywhere. He was at check-in, at the bar by check-in, at the pool getting drinks/towels for people/letting us know of nearby storms, and I swear he was doing housekeeping at one point. Pool Area - Pool/hot tub was nice. There was also a fire pit. Employees (Bryan) would ask if we needed drinks/towels/updated us on the weather. It was nice that the pool was opened until midnight (as long as it wasn't storming). Casino - Casino was smaller than I am used to. I didn't win anything, but other people staying that we knew did win. Better luck next time I guess. King Room - Room was nice/clean. All the rooms (double/king) seemed to be the same layout (couch/tv sitting area separate from the bed(s)). I did not like the bathroom doors since they did not lock. The Osage branded water bottles in my room were opened (they didn't look like it at first glance, but when handed to me it was leaking). The A/C actually got the room cold. The mini fridge seemed to take a long time before it got the waters/beers cold. Breakfast - I was surprised that they even had breakfast, but the breakfast and service was lacking. The only ready/hot food was biscuits & gravy. There was waffles/bagels that you could warm up in the toaster, but no other hot food. So donuts, muffins, cereal, and fruits. Usually hotels that serve breakfast are in/out making sure everything stays stocked. Breakfast is from 7am-10am. We made it down there by 701am. There was only 2 biscuits left and we grabbed the last 2. Some of the other items were gone/about to be gone too (like waffles/bread/etc). We didn't see any staff until 736am and she started immediately cleaning tables before she finally looked at the biscuits/other items to eventually stock them back up. Bar Area - The service was extremely slow and wasn't busy the majority of the time we went up to the bar. There was 1x that they were doing a shift change which could have caused a delay (even though there was 4 people behind the counter), but easily 10+ minute wait for drinks to even be taken every time we went up there...which was a lot. We would have wallet in hand/standing by the bar/making eye contact (if they would even look at us) and still it was a long wait. Another time we had been waiting and some random customer walks up and is immediately served before we was. The customer noticed we had already been there/can probably see our frustration and told the bartender we need to be served...we were served after her still. Restaurant Area - Same food as the bar. Same slow service. This area was also not busy when we went in. We were seated within a few minutes (the hostess was not by the counter/we had to wait to be seated). We ordered nachos and 2 drinks. The wait on the nachos took longer than it should, but whatever on that. It was more irritating that we couldn't get our drinks refilled. The hostess/waitress was standing/talking to her friends/guests the whole time. I finally was able to get her attention by waving at her and pointing at my drink. She refilled mine, but not my husbands even though his was nearly out too. Even getting the check/cashing out was slow for them not being busy at all. Store - The employees there were great too. We went in late one night and wanted to buy a blanket that was in the back. He had to wait on security/another employee to get there. He called security the 1st time so he can go and get the blanket I wanted. When ringing up we realized we forgot our wallet. So he had to wait for us to come back and get it so we can pay. A few other shenanigans happened to. Basically that late night clerk was very patient with us even though we were complete idiots that night. The only reason this is getting an overall 3 rating is because of Check-in, Bryan, Store employees and location was great otherwise it we be a 1 star.
Good vibe on week nights. Never been on the weekend, but I bet it's.crowded. Good game selection of classic 3 and 5 reel style games to new video games. One of only 2 places that I've been that has frankenstein slot.
I love the casino but really wish there wasn't so much cigarette and cigar and Marijuana smoke! I can't stay long because it all makes me sick to my stomach! But I love the slots here!
Love the rooms here!!! Each room has living room area and a mini fridge. I also seem to win more often at this skiatook location VS the Tulsa Osage location. Worth the drive for sure!
My room was clean and smoke free, but there were a few drunk, ignorant people walking to the rooms, smoking from the casino. One lady walked past an employee smoking going through to the elevator... "smoke free area" signs mean anything? it won't be long until it becomes the next "Motel 6"..."We'll leave the lighter on ...the bed for you"
